I would love some honest answers here. There doesn't have to be a lot of discussion, just curious...

I honestly have no clue what I'm gonna do. I've never not wanted to vote for anybody the way I feel concerning this election.

I should have put undecided on the list. Although your response indicates a certain identification with one of the options.

Ok, so Trump likes the girls.

So does Hillary.

Anybody who likes the Constitution and doesn't want to become another third rate European country being overrun with Moose slim radicals and who thinks we are taxed enough already should pull the lever for Trump.

Hillary is one of the most crooked politicians to ever disgrace DC and that is saying a lot.:machgun:

Voting Johnson. I agree with his stances, and Trump and Hillary are scum. Easy choice this year. I would also vote for him any other year, it's not that I'm voting for him in spite of Trump and Clinton.

The Trump fear mongering has you all up in arms. BTW, Trump has probably threatened to ignore the constitution more than any other candidate that I have ever heard.

On one hand, Trump is a lunatic.

On the other, he is advocating for 15% corporate taxes... (I own a company and I am greedy :p )

On one hand Clinton is lying weasel with an abysmal track record of accomplishment.

On the other hand, she's in possession of a brain to mouth filter that may not result in WWIII.

I'm voting for Johnson, as derpy as he is. Maybe I'll write in Rand Paul.

I'm voting for GJ, not because I think he is a particularly good candidate, and not because I particularly have any faith in American politics any longer, but I feel like people will be more open in the future to voting for a non R/D if they see other parties gaining more and more support in the ballot box. A bunch of people who are voting for the lesser evil might be like, hey, GJ got x% of the vote, next time around maybe I won't feel so cornered into picking between a giant douche or a turd sandwich.

I dunno. That's my reasoning I guess.

I was severely disappointed in Washington long before Trump came on the scene. At least he will deal with the corruption.

Nobody else will.

And he will also deal with the total bull sheet border problems.

Lol, this is a great example of what I said in the other thread. Republicans that bring up the constitution have no idea how it works or the history of it.

Please enlighten us on how Trump will protect the Constitution.

It'll be Johnson for me. Trump and Clinton have completely disqualified themselves from holding public office by virtue of their words and actions.

GJ is a bit of a goofball, but I have much more faith in him to make the correct decisions than the others mostly because he has executive experience. I also think it's worth it to try and hit that 5% popular vote mark just so the lesser of two evils BS will start to become less entrenched.

How will he defend the Constitution? Note that he advocates policies that are violations of the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and several more.

How do you feel about Johnson's glaring lack of knowledge on policy and international relations?

I'm voting for GJ simply because the **** has to stop.
The 2 party system has destroyed this country long enough. Choosing and advocating one over the other between Trump or Hillary is the equivalent of choosing how you like your **** sandwich served to you...toasted or untoasted. I am absolutely amazed at how completely insane and idiotic the general public is when it comes to this decision. In the end there is no difference between the two idiots that the sheep have convinced themselves to believe are their only options. So long as you pull the lever for either Trump or Hillary, America once again loses.
What is the very definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again but expecting a different result? Funny how many people use this analogy for everything in life but fail to apply it to themselves when it comes to their voting privilege!

Policy?

I think the Aleppo thing was no big deal - it was out of context and had it been a question about Syria (which makes more sense) then there'd be no issue.

The foreign leader he admires - he could have come up with someone but he definitely doesn't say stuff to pander so I'm guessing there aren't many he's aware of that he admires.

A candiate/office holder can get up to speed and has a ton of advisors.

A candidate cannot shrug off a life time of corruption and unbridled self-interest seeking nor can one suddenly become even-keeled and principled.

Everybody's got their bag of rocks to carry around.

Clinton can't open her mouth without lying.

Trump is white trash, literally. Yes literally.

Johnson like turtles.

It's actually probably the biggest issue I have with him as a candidate. I was expecting much more of him on that front.

I still think his prescriptions are better than both Trump and Clinton even though his knowledge is lacking compared to HRC. The president doesn't lack for foreign policy advisors. I have no idea what Trump's policies are. Sometimes he sounds like a non-interventionist, sometimes he sounds like a war criminal. We can't have someone that uneven in charge.

Clearly Johnson doesn't know more than Clinton re: foreign policy, but look at where all that knowledge has gotten us. I really don't see Johnson as the type to ad lib or try to bully people into getting his way, but as someone who would weigh the options and be pragmatic.

The candidates:

One is sane, one may not be sane, one is just lost, I don't know anything about the other one.

I'm voting for the sane one.

Voting GJ. Believe he is a much better choice than DJT or HRC. That and the two party system needs to die.
