Explain This to Me

How does a Kentucky player go to UT Medical Center, during a game, get a CT scan and the results, and make it back before the end of the game?

Everyone who was waiting in the ER, and anyone who's ever waited in the ER, knows that is some 🐂 💩
Athletes always get preferential treatment in both college and NFL.

I did my residency at UT Med Center. I was on the neurocritical care unit one month, and a UT player came in and bumped a STROKE patient from the CT scanner to get scanned first. That player went back to neyland and continued playing in the second half.

It's funny you brought this up, because when they mentioned that during the broadcast I wondered to myself if an opposing team would have the same expediency

That sounds about right. I wonder if Vanderbilt would do the same for their athletes.

Did the Stroke victims family know about it?
