I am sorta wondering just to what extent Saturday's game will be what you would call a full-scale opening day game or more of an experiment as to who can play where and do what. What does everyone think on that one?

My impression on Kiffin is that he doesn't mess around. This will be full scale opening game. WKU watchout.

I think the primary goal will be to beat the crap out of Western Kentucky. Maybe if we have the game well in hand, I think we will, we'll start checking some things out.

Their entire D-line has never played a D1 college game. If there were a time to "experiment" its in 2days............

I heard that Nuke is going to throw a pass to himself.

Kiffin is going to put the 1's in long enough to take control of the game, maybe 2 quarters, and then get them the hell out of harm's way.

Tennessee has one big problem this year. That is depth. Kiffin will not risk losing any starters by playing them deep into the game. And by doing that, he will give his young unproven depth some in game experience.

Kiffin will experiment with the offense by actually calling plays that will move the ball and score offensive touchdowns. Something the coaching staff last year failed at.

I think Kiffin will get them game well in hand & then start experimenting with some new stuff. I think the 1's will get alot of playing time just so he can see how they perform in a game atmosphere. I think once the game is in hand the freshmen will get ALOT of work so he can get them use to everything.

I hope the passing game gets some enjoyment out of this WKU game now because when we hit conference play, I hope we line up and run it di-rectly down people's throats.

I dont think there will be no quarter and no mercy given. He wants to beat them bad. It is all an experiment really!
