Keyontae Taylor of Florida who collapsed on the floor of a basketball game and had to be put into a drug-enduced coma, went home alive and better. His doctors say he has myocarditis(heart infection and inflamation)resulting from having COVID19 this past July.Joke about masks time !Noone is wearing a mask proerly who has it below their nose or takes it down to talk.Almost all coaches in the SEC and elsewhere do this constantly.Check out Kirby of Georgia. If this makes Pruitt dumb,he is surrounded by millions.

There is no doubt that TN looked horrific and didn't make adjustments in the 3rd and 4th quarter against Arkansas. There is no doubt UT had the better team. But, calling a 11 pt loss a blowout is beyond laughable!!!
Yeah this is the type of rhetoric where I lose respect for opinions. At some point it’s not about truth but agenda. And I for one don’t play the agenda game.

His system is in place and in 3 years his system produced JG as the best chance to win. His system barely beat Kentucky last year and then that same system lost to Kentucky by 27 points this year. His system seems to require a lot of yelling at players and includes firing coaches during games. I am sick of his system. I want a new system that wins. I have watched Hugh Freezes system since he was at Briarcrest High School in Memphis. His system and plan have worked everywhere he has coached. I'm ready for him to bring that plan and system that works to Knoxville.

They were saying the same in Starkville about Leach. Where has that gotten them?

I hope this is sarcasm. I have too many friends burying loved ones the past couple weeks. I have another friend waiting on an emergency bed at Indianapolis Children's because her son with a heart defect was exposed by her waste of sperm ex husband. I've had friends in the ICU, and a former student who was forced into labor so she wouldn't give birth while intubated as doctors tried to save her life.

Science overwhelmingly disagrees with the belief that masks don't work. I'm sorry that it wasn't presented to you in the right way for it to be accepted.
Right there with you brother, and sorry for all that you and your family have gone through. I have basically worked everyday since the end of February and it still amazes me that people still think that this is some kind of joke or political tactic to get Trump out of office. You are more than welcome to come down to my ER's and then up to our ICU's so you can see what a joke this is. I swear this is exactly the reason why I didn't come on here for a couple of years.

As a fan base, are we not giving the man time to put his plan in place? Is he just slow in developing his system here at TN?

And what about Gus, Gene and Hugh? Seems like the fan base is trying to single out all of their flaws, but these are proven coaches with baggage...like everyone else. We cannot go into lab and create the perfect coach who wins at least 10 games a year.

Let’s get realistic. We don’t need a guy who runs out the clock with 2 minutes to go and who cannot get past 3rd down to pick up first downs consistently. Nerve wracking.
This post is ridiculous!!

DO NOT randomly let someone into your ICU or you’ll probably be looking for somewhere else to practice.

I think everyone would be much more patient if the team showed ANY meaningful improvement without double digit ass kicking after double digit ass kicking.

Liked.
I can think of a team that has improved recruiting significantly over the past 4 years and steadily declined until year 4.

It’s pretty simple. Good coaches win more than they lose and bad coaches lose more than they win. you are what your record says you are. Ours ain’t that good.

Pruitt has struggled to get the level of Talent that Florida, Georgia, LSU, Alabama and other SEC teams recruit.
Add the Fact that Pruitt’s still learning how to be a HC and suddenly you have a struggling football program, with no end in sight for loyal fans
How can he be struggling yo get top talent ? I've seen several posts stating that Pruitt should be fired for losing to teams with clearly less talent. How can we have more talent than some teams in the league. But Pruitt can't bring in Talent? You awful ass fans need to get your stories straight. Pruitt has brought in very talented classes. The 2 deep wouldn't be loaded with frosh/sophisticated if good talent wasn't coming in. These kids are more talented than more physically developed upperclassmen.

I think the blowout losses to Kentucky and Arkansas this year were inexcusable. Getting physically dominated by GA state last year was also terrible.
My Response

Arkansas: Franks has kicked our ass every since he stepped foot on a campus. Doesnt matter which campus or who the coach is for either team. He did what he always does so u shouldnt have been shocked.

Kentucky: I cant blame anybody but JG for the KY game. When your 10th year SR QB follows a fumble with back to back pick 6's, then the replacement comes right in and throws a pick on his 1st pass, you are probably going to get blown out that day. Doesnt matter who you are playing. U can coach until your face turns blue. At the end of the day the guy pulling the trigger has to make good decisions. U dont blame the teacher when a straight A student fails an exam. That's the equivalent of JG's game prep to his game performance.

Ga State: The perfect term for this game is "Reality Check". Team A is a power option football team with a ton of upperclassmen. Team B is a young team rebuilding its trenches. Anyone who ever played football before 2010 knows whats about to happen against an option team when they have the trench advantage. We had a top 25 team with upperclassmen in 2017 and tech ran for 535 on us in that offense without any 300lb olinemen. They were a 5-6 team and we were a D Taylor tackle away from losing.

I believe all this disappointment from the fan base this early in the rebuild show's u that people really didnt understand how bad we really were. This is why so many coaches turned down the job in the 1st place. Every single position on the field needed to be addressed and u wont get time to do it. Development is a big word on VN. I played alot of ball and I know for a fact that the offseason is one of the most important aspects of the game. I just dont see how u are going to make any real improvement if 60% of the team is returning from the ER in Year 1 and u dont have enough guys to practice bc of covid in Year 3. They got 1 full offseason with the majority of the team and went 8-5 with a bowl win over a team that looked really good this year.

It’s cool you played peewee football. I did too. Hey I might have even started a game or two, but this team, especially this year, was not devoid of talent the way you think it is. Literally every starter on the offensive line was a high four or five star recruit. I guarantee that all five are drafted. That is the type of talent that an Alabama puts out. Not only that, you can look at the running back and wide receiver positions stacked with talent. The reason the offense failed, especially this year, was mismanagement of the quarterback position. JG played some bad ball, but Pruitt is the one that would rotate them with no rhyme or reason. I would maybe buy in 2017 that this team had the talent of a 7-5 / 8-4 team. Last year should have been a 10 win season. This year should have been a 7 win season. The results are what they are. Anyone who’s really played the sport at an elite level can see that the players do not understand assignment football. That is strictly coaching. The players are disinterested in what’s happening during the game. That is also coaching and leadership. I think anyone can see that Pruitt has the X’s and O’s part down, because of what he has done prior to coming to Tennessee. I also think anyone who knows football or any sport and has played it at the collegiate level can see that Pruitt lacks the skills to lead and to motivate.

Horseshit. In 3 years no one was expecting to win the SEC or a natty. But we did expect to see QB development. We did expect to see progress. And most of all, we didn't expect to get blown out by Kentucky at home in year 3. We didn't expect to get beat by Georgia-freaking-State or BYU in year two. We didn't expect to lose by double digits to so many teams in 3 years. (a modern era record btw). How in hell is anyone carrying water for Pruitt when its obvious to everyone that he's not the guy? 3-7 in year 3 is unacceptable!

But more than just the record, Pruitt's teams look slow, unmotivated, and boring as hell to watch. His management of the QB position has been dreadful! He started Garantano for 3 years when clearly JT Shrout was a more talented option and he never once bothered to try to bring in a JUCO transfer to push JG or perhaps even take the starting spot. It's clear to me that this coach doesn't know what he's doing and this should not be a learn on the job position at this level!

That is still up for debate and we will never know. What is interesting is how the exact version of this virus was captured over 10 years ago, which means the current virus (Covid-19) kept its genetic sequence in tact for over 10 years. Covid-19 has muted over 5 times that we know of in the past 10 months. Think about that.

I don't care who is here coaching. Losing multiple teams with clearly inferior talent over the last 3 years is unacceptable and has nothing to do with giving him time to put his system in place. The end.

Yeah. It's really that simple.
Not sure why so many people argue against it
