Expecting a Win This Weekend!!!

It's gonna come down to QB play and drive sustainability. Milton vs Pickett....edge to Pitt. Tennessee will look a lot better than last week, but I believe they'll take the L in a close game.

Also, Pitt has the better defense and continuity.

35% confidence in a Tennessee win.

Seriously, looking forward to watching a big game, and a Vols Win!

What is the confidence level of you folks on the board?
50%
Feeling better than that?
Worse?
Still in wait and see mode?
All the confidence in the world?

What say you VolNation?
Pitt is considered a toss up game. UT could beat them by 30 or lose by 10 if they played bad.
UT should win and the negaposters will go from “we have no chance” to “what we beat an average ACC team”

Honestly I think Pitt brings a lot of fans back to reality. This just isn’t a very good team.
I think with a QB this is a 7 win team and feel really good about that. Maybe even 8 with this schedule. I don't think we're beating Ole Miss or UF either way. Bama and UGA are definite L's. I actually think we'd have better chance beating UF than Ole Miss.

But unless we find a QB, we're gonna struggle to go bowling.

The key to this game will be who can pressure the opposing QB the most. So we need our Oline to pick up blitzes effectively and Milton needs to know his hot reads in his sleep.

Our Dline might win this game for us if we can effectively harass Pickett and shut down their run game.

It will be a great day when I can go into every football Saturday optimistic that the Vols have a good chance to win the game. Has been a while.

Ok, I’ll ask what about Pitt makes you so sure?

I’ll admit I had concerns but after watching UMASS/Pitt I’m not the least bit concerned.

I encourage you to watch the game on YouTube and see how you feel after.

It is a crying shame that there is even a question of will we beat a mid level ACC team.

Not gonna be popular, but Tennessee is a bad football team with no depth and a QB who doesn't see the field.

I sure miss the good ole' days.

Vols 50/50 I think if Milton played for UF Mullen would start him. Just think he started Frank’s over Heisman finalist Trask until Frank’s got hurt. Like UT that’s why the Universities like UF & UT pay these guys millions. To start the wrong QB. Hoping we have a Trask type in the wings but do not want or to wait for an injury. My fear is JM is our best.

If you can’t see the depth in the offensive and defensive lines and at running back then there’s no hope for you.

As a vols fan we go 15-0 every season. As a realist, I'd say for this game, we win. About 60% sure we win and let's be honest we need this win.

My heart says Vols, by my thought is “flip a coin”. If Milton and the WR’s play like they did against BG, it’s a loss. My hope is that Milton suddenly morphs into whatever Heupel thinks he can be but………….

I was impressed with Evans at RB, thought we have a good chance to beat Pitt with him. With him out I am less confident. Hope Wright plays well. I’ll stick to TN by 3 points.

Probably be a close game. Vegas has it close and they are pretty good at that stuff. Turnover at an inopportune time of the game, may be it.
