What changes do you expect to see in the way of players, and play calling for LSU? For years I read, "Dooley left us in a dumpster fire, butch has us moving in the right direction.....", of course this was posted by the brain dead vols. Butch has left us in a bad situation, I doubt any coach in the world can come in with this little notice and deliver a W, considering the state we're in. With that said, I'm hopeful as hell, if not a win, at least a competitive showing. Not having weird calls sent in, screwing up OT calls, swapping linemen's positons from play to play, and the rest of it, will be a small victory for UT-at this point we'll take any kind of victory we can get.:dance2::dance2:

I'm sure they will play loose and The stadium will have an extra 20k. I hope the coaches let it fly and have fun.

It’s going to be interesting if the offense looks good!

yeah I'd expect those 4 freshmen who are starting on the OL to really tee off on the LSU DL and lbers even thou bama struggled somewhat to move it against LSU. McBride will pick the LSU 2ndary apart with Tennessee's dominant WRs also

Will the trash can stay or will it be retired into the UT hall of shame along with Dooley's Orange dog and Kiffin's wrecked Lexus.

All out blitzes every snap, throw bombs on every down and always go for it on 4th down.

He may get carted off if he continues to get hit.

I actually just bought tickets and will be there Saturday. First time this year. Wasn't planning on going to any because it's a long drive from VA and Butch sucked. But alas hope springs eternal at least until we inevitably screw up the hire.

So much is wrong about this post. Dooley left us in a dumpster fire. He left zero talent, he burned bridges with HS coach's,especially in GA that took a while to mend. We have talent, especially when healthy. They were swapping lineman's posit because we only had 6 healthy O-Linemen. Butch's issue has been horrific coaching hire especially on the offensive side of the ball. We have an OC that has never called plays and it's obvious he wasn't ready. We have a QB Coach who is one of Butch's besties that has no business coaching QB's at a power 5 conference and there's a reason he was at Utah St and not at an elite types school. Butch was way out of his depth here and that was very obvious. The talent he brought in easily could and should have won the East several years and with a competent coach we would have. Gameday coaching and player development was and will always be Butch's Achilles heel. Then becoming more obvious that he's just a POS.But no he has not left us in a bad situation. A good hire could come in and win the East next year or at the very least be in the running. Talent is not the issue at all.

I'm sure this was meant to be humorous. But there was no somewhat to it Ala struggled all night trying to move it on LSU. They didn't even get 300 yards of offense and couldn't run it on LSU. Auburn is gonna beat Ala in 2 weeks. I doubt we even score on LSU that defense is nasty.

Your post is full of reality... that won't play well here at this time. But I get it and agree... this team is decimated and should not play much different against LSU than it did vs. Mizzou. I just hope to see more passion and pissed off attitudes, that would make me feel good.

Sorry, but say what you want about Jones’ coaching.... but, you have to admit he is leaving a much better roster for the next guy than his predecessor left him.

Yep, a week can sure make a big difference, probably be the worst beat down for LSU in 20 years.
