Win SEC East - Every 2-4 years

Win SEC Title - Every 5 years

Legitimate shot at a National Title - Every 10 years

I believe this is a fair assessment. Anything more than this (for any team in the SEC) is unrealistic.

Show up and play well in bowl games. (In addition to that title contention business)

Bingo.....Show up when National Relevance is on the line, especially in the games you are expected to win....I.E. Penn State, Clemson, and Maryland.

I agree. I'll even go as far as the team competing game after game, I hope everyone on here watched Boise State and Oklahoma. If our boys played every game with half the desire and determination Boise State did, I think the majority of us would be pleased and I'm sure the results would be positive..

Absolutely. The perception of Tennessee as a cupcake is spreading. We are no longer mentioned among the elite.

How long until that hurts us in recruiting? The media goes a long toward forming kids opinions about the schools they follow. Fulmers success at recruiting followed several years of success on the field. It wasn't an accident.

I would like to see some modicum of personal and / or team pride on display every week, win or lose.

I believe a lot of us help spread the word that we are now a "cupcake". On the radio today the host was talking about Tennessee with a fan and the fan was downgraded our staff pretty bad. So we cant blame the media for reporting when our people spread negativity themselves.

First of all, it will soon be unrealistic to beat SC by a lot, with Spurrier.

And 500 against the teams you mentioned would still be 3 losses... So over 500 would be pretty good, and some seasons at or below would be forgivable if we actually got some SEC titles to go along with it.

Well lets look at it like this guys. We have a sorta weak schedule next year the hardest tests being the normal UF,UGA,Bama,Cal past that we (should) run the table.
No i did not forget arky they have proven to be not for real in my eyes.

1. Protect our home field against top-10 teams.
2. Quit showing up to bowl games assuming that we'll win
3. Dont quit when the game is going bad...they didnt quit against uga, but I feel like they did against arkansas, and some people feel the same way about psu.

Add those to the sec east every 2-4 years, sec title every 4-7 years.

7 years is too much, and so is 4 for the East.

You've QUICKLY become the worst poster ever.

Next year's schedule is more difficult than this season's was. It's obvious.

And if Arkansas isn't for real, what are WE?

Exactly...

Next year's schedule is BRUH - OOOOOH - TALLLL... This wont be popular, but 8-4 regular season next year would not be bad... 9-3 would be a success.

Dude are you on drugs?????
we replace LSU with Miss state
pick up N. Illinois
Southern Miss
also louisiana-lafayette
What exactly makes that harder than this year??????
Just because we will play UF @ UF and bama @ bama????

So why don't you run us through our typical Fulmer drill. We beat the teams to which we are far superior, split or worse with those close to our level of talent, and never beat those equal or better in talent. All of this is AT HOME. It gets worse on the road.

Man, i'm just looking for bright spots.
I think Our VOLS stand a very good chance of being in the hunt for the SEC CG next year. yeah the loss of our top 3 hopefully only 2 wr's will hurt but that just leaves room for someone to step up. We will have Bolden and Fisher starting on the D-line and our Lb's should be pretty good fellows will return hopefully Hefney will be back. like i said i'm still trying to have hope here and i keep on getting slammed for it.
