ESPN projects us as a favorite right now against Kentucky, Mizzou and Vandy, but with a few injuries that can change in a hurry.

I think Sagarin agrees with this as well based on his power rankings.

Even then, the mathematical probability that we can win the last 3 based on being a slight favorite against Mizzou and Kentucky and a strong favorite against Vandy: 33%.

Still, I lean 6-6. Even 5-7 would be very close to most people's preseason expectations back when no one realized the difficulties our young OL would have blocking the most basic schemes. We knew they'd struggle, but no one imagined what we are seeing right now.

vegas had UT at 5.5 at the beginning of the season and I believe that .5 to six was the FL game as of now. So that means we need 1 unexpected win to get to 6. of either Mizzou or SC

Protect the ball better? Have you watched our offense? We are worse than being unable to score we specialize in helping defenses score.

I guess my thing is, coming into this season, the general consensus was, that we had no returning starts on OL or DL, with depth and size issues at OL. Everyone who was realistic said we would get 6-7 wins, 5 at worst. We didn't win games that were written as highly probable losses prior to the season, and that was expected. Sure, we could've upset Georgia, and Worley going down killed that. Florida should have been a win, and that one does bother me, but we didn't expect to win prior to the season, so it's a wash. Oklahoma and Ole Miss, we didn't have a chance with our OL, period. We have Bama, a likely loss, then 4 much easier games that we can and probably should win. If, during those 4 games, we are still as bad, then yeah, maybe a cause for concern.

Injuries starting to mount on an already inexperienced, thin and bad O line. Worley is in danger of getting put out of the game everytime he takes a snap. I really don't see how we do better than 4-8, 5-7. Unlikely we beat SC or Mizzou. Vandy and KY are our best options for wins.

I hope you are right and yes if we go on to win 6 games I will be satisfied. In all honesty at this point I am not seeing it. I know we lost the games we likely should have (UF excluded based on their track record this year) but it's the way we are dropping them that leaves me no confidence against even the easier opponents like Mizzou and UK. Now if we get to 7 wins I would call that the rebound of the decade for a UT coaching staff. Right now I see a possible 4-8 season looming if we don't get some crap fixed.

You can't win games without scoring TD's. Our OL will not be able to protect the QB, our RB's are all limping. Being realistic, I don't see our defense scoring enough points to win. So I don't see us winning another game. That includes CANDY.

We'll three point them to death

We really needed that Florida win. The loss has put us in a pickle.

means we need to beat Missouri or S Carolina.

Before this weekend I felt like we should beat Missouri since it's in Knoxville, but now I'd say that game is more of a tossup.

4-8. No way we beat another team besides Vandy with this OL and this OC weak, safe, predictable play calling.
Funnt how the QB could keep the ball tons of times against UTc but then we play a real team and it was obvious they knew the QB wouldn't be aloud to ever keep it. Ole Miss constantly sold out on the RB leaving Worley an entire half of a field to run wild and every single time the RB ended up with the ball. I would blame worley but te coaches have already said its not really his choice, its the play the OC calls and the OC telling him to keep it or not before they ever line up.
