2.Nick Saban said his team was tired
3.Now Steve Spurrier says his wide receiver is sick.

Will the excuses ever stop.It's so funny to me that other teams all have reasons why they barely beat Tennessee.Tennessee needs no excuses.They have lost 2 or 3 starters for the season and don't have to resort to excuses!!Go Vols!!

I think the UF out with the flu was a weak excuse, Alabama was probably tired but it's not excuse for their play... but if the guy doesn't play because he's sick I don't see how that can be an excuse, more just a statement of fact

Not a valid excuse when you have a deep squad. We outschemed 'bama no doubt. Now, 'bama probably wasn't expecting Crompton to play as well as he did... but that's where our coaching came in.

Considering the state of our progaram after last year.

1. The last 2 years, ( we lost to UF 89-26, and Bama 70-17)

2. Both of the above teams are the best, and most talented teams in the country right now.

3. This year we lost by a combine 35-23 on the road.

At this point, I would be happy with those performances, given where we are. The AU and UCLA games were bad.
