Well I saved my first thread for the day I turned 30! As of today Im no longer in my 20's and Im just as excited as ever for the season to start. Im not a native of Tennessee but my father was from Dayton and made my blood runneth orange from birth. Ill never forget at 10 years old watching the natinal title game with him. Heres to my 30th year being part of the greatest family on earth and part of a greatest forum on the web! (Thanks Freak!)

PS - Im in section 133 row 6 this weekend to watch our beloved Vols thrash the mountaineers, anyone sitting close...if so let me know, be nice to meet some fellow members of volnation!

Happy Birthday! I watched the National Championship with my dad as well. I took him to his first game that year. He always listened to John Ward.. Sadly he passed away a year later. I had a very cool UT hat that I got signed by the 98 team that year.. I placed the hat in his casket at his funeral.. Good memories I had with my dad and Tennessee Football!

Too many dads out there passing down the orange blood for it to ever fade! Long live the volunteer fans! Sorry about your fathers passing, I know those have to be prized memories. I love every opportunity my father and I get to share in orange. Thanks for the birthday wishes Vol brother!
