Excited to Cover Tennessee Football Recruiting

It was either Independence, Blackman or Oakland for tonight. I picked Oakland but will definitely get to Independence. Saw them at the Vandy 7 on 7. Can't wait to see them in action this season.

Wharton and Gaulden look like they're headed for having really nice seasons.

Lots of different schools in middle TN with good talent now. The area has been coming up in the HS football world and should continue to get better IMO.

I totally understand how recruiting/analysts are viewed. There are some good ones and there are some not so good ones.

There are some that I read everyday and some where I just roll my eyes and can't believe they have a job. It is all on what you want.
Passionate state. That might be the
Do you want someone who knows a football from a tennis ball or do you want someone who is going to hide behind bushes and let you know when D'Shawn Hand is at the local Dairy Queen.

No pressure for me, that's why I decided to write here on VolNation. I'm not trying to beat anyone on a commitment. With twitter, facebook, Vine, Instagram, it's hard to do anyway.

I'm just going to interview targets, upload some pics, some video and offer opinion....and enjoy Vol Football. It's great to be living in a passionate state.

Welcome aboard Chris. UT has an extremely passionate fan base, and based on early indications you could not have picked a better time to follow the Vols and recruiting. There should be lots to report on going forward, with hopefully little to no news regarding burning mattresses.

beware the football forum, especially after a loss, or a win for that matter. come to the pub for helpful advice on everything, visit the zone for unhelpful but funny advice on everything and take your blood pressure meds before entering the 2nd circle of hell known as the politics forum. have fun!

everyone has a sense of humor? Please tell me everyone has a sense of humor? No death threats. I have one more to get thru college!

Some on here ate their sense of humor cause it made them laugh. Others have theirs buried so deep they haven't so much as smiled in years. Most, however, have good healthy humor glands and use them frequently and usually loaded with sarcasm. Now just let us know when the last one graduates from UT so we can get on with those death threats. :hi: (<----- there's the sarcasm. )

I don't think of myself as living in a rich part of town and sticking my nose in the air of people who live outside of Williamson County.

I grew up one of 7 kids, in a 1200 square foot home to blue-collar parents. I never had my own bicycle and all of my athletic gear for baseball, football etc...was usually purchased from garage sales.

I consider myself blessed and I know I live where I live because of God's blessing and hard work. I promise you that I'll venture outside my little bubble to go watch some ball this year.

Chris

You're gonna love our coach, if you don't already. Y'all have a lot in common. :)

Welcome to Volnation!

Welcome Chris! I hope you have a blast living in the area and covering my beloved Vols! There are some on here that will be rude and crass toward you. I hope your skin is thicker than mine because it gets very annoying. Good luck.

Hey Chris. Quick question. Do you in anyway count against our recruit count for this year? If so, sorry, but I hope you get greyshirted. We need more DL in this cycle.
