Tillman is proven All SECtype player. He should have been on pre season 1st team. Looked good Thursday night as expected.

McCoy will only get better. Game speed takes time to adjust to 2 seasons away. Huge matchup problem for DBs

Hiatt has improved. Showed great energy and we know he can run.

Merrill & Holiday showed out. Both can play and contribute big time at this level. Calloway didn’t play but he has big play ability. See Pitt LY

White can be a huge weapon by 3-4th game.

Let's don't leave out Keyton. I thought he played well too.

I am not sure if these guys have great skill sets or if they are all getting to maximize what they have due to our offensive systems. Regardless, the connections between QB's and receivers SHOULD be better now that most are going into their second year in the offense, their understanding of routes and reads is much more solid after lots of reps in practice. Even the newbies get to benefit from the older guys showing them the way and even acting as coaches on the field. With both QB 1&2 in learning mode last year, one arriving early, one in the summer, establishing understanding and trust with a few took a lot of the reps and limited the number of guys you felt comfortable with.

After one season, and all the off season together, with spring and fall sessions sandwiching VOLUNTARY work on their own, there are more trusted bullets in the QB's holsters. I think I heard we had 7 receivers with more than 1 catch the other night. We will probably continue to feature tempo, but when that is broken we can put in other rested bodies of starter quality to go against the other teams not as rested starters or less talented backups. I hope we show the value of this against our next foe, a P5 team, and not just show it as an advantage against lessor opponents and we have the time to hit more open receivers. Even tougher tests on the horizon. Having a mix of game breakers and more consistent big bodied drive extenders will be invaluable.

Hyatt was a straightline runner when he got here. Really fast but could be a bit clumsy footed. He's put on some good muscle and runs with a little wiggle now! He's going to have a big year.

Tillman looks more sudden.
McCoy is a phenom. White looks really quick.

This unit is more talented than last years
