Example of not comparing game outcomes

Several people look at what Miami did to Appy in Boone and look at what we did with Appy at home. OK so some say we are definitely going to lose to Florida? Florida isn't Miami. Case in point we beat VT in Bristol. Florida beats UMASS decent amount and Boston College beat UMASS about the same. Well VT beats Boston College 49-0. My point we can't be worried about other game outcomes. Come Saturday Tennessee vs Florida will have its own identity. We both have huge question marks anyways but with all the injuries even more questions. So let's wash the slate clean. Week 4 is new week, new game and lets Whip their backsides.

Before this year is over, we will look back and see that we beat a good Va. Tech team. They just dismantled Boston College yesterday. Almost a perfect game for them.

It truly is maddening how we are playing up to the level of our competition so far...

I get your point but isn't UT playing just above the level of their competition?

Read Volnation and UT is the worst 3-0 team in the country. Read the polls and they are one of the top 15 teams in the country.

I love me some UT football but some of our fans, who are right in a lot of the deficiencies they point out, forget to recognize and celebrate team and individual successes.

Let's just sit back and recognize we will be on Gameday 2 of the first 4 weeks of the season. That's amazing because of the fact UT is the draw not who UT is playing. UT is favored to win and we as fans are allowed to be be happy and enjoy it!
