In some respects he is.... but the lack of players is pretty evident. I still don't think you can give a coach a long leash. He still needs to show something significant next year IMO or should be fired. Hopefully if that happens he'll leave it better than he found it... because Jones left an awful mess.

But some of Butches recruits are the best players on the team. Obviously the dl last year was better than this year, with 2 years of Pruitts recruits, what will it look like next year when we have 3 yrs of Pruitts recruits on dl. On the plus side our ol is much improved.

He lost to Georgia state and kept maurer on the bench for 4 games.

We would 3-2 If Maurer was QB1 from game one

Even more importantly is who he had on D at Bama. He is not recruiting anywhere close to that level here. Everyone was excited for 20-something minutes last night before reality slapped us in the face.

My son was the person who created the chart. He's a data analyst and a true-blue UT fan. He and one of his data-analyst buddies (both graduates of UT's MSBA program) are assembling a lot of interesting data with statistical insights into the state of the program. The goal is to provide some actionable insights that can help make us better.

CORRECTION: My son didn't create the chart. He created another chart from the data that was tweeted by the Athletic.

Freeze, Briles, and Ole Bobby would never be approved by the BOT for hire

Once Mullen and Florida were mentioned together it was over. Even tho I thought he’d never go back there

Mike Leach allegedly wanted the job but he’s proven thus far he’s not the hero some say he his but let’s nit rehash that argument

I was all in on Miles being the guy for a long time and held on to a lot of false forgetting who calls the shots. Hell If this goes bad he still needs a call first IMO
