Everyone needs to see this tweet

And quit acting like Pruitt walked into anything other than a dumpster fire

I think people might understand better if everyone currently injured or suspended was also highlighted.

Gooden isnt playing. Smith has been out a lot. Banks is now most likely gone.

Man, Ignont should have stuck around...

The roster isn’t the problem, it’s how the head coach is trying to build a team. He doesn’t care about UT. Once we stop paying him he will not give us a second thought. The problem this creates is he doesn’t care if he breaks UT trying to fix it. He used Ga State as a scrimmage and the players knew that. We were losing and he was still experimenting with different line ups on both sides of the ball. Finding the best players for the line was more important to him than allowing one of the worst losses in UT history. On 3 4th downs in the red zone against BYU he chose to go for it to try and establish a culture instead of taking the field goals and the win.

He is acting like a gambler using someone else’s money. If he was the head coach at Bama in the exact same situations he would coach completely differently.

So Pruitt hates us.......ok dummy

but UF was 4-8 when Dan took over and fixed them pretty quick. They were supposedly down on talent. I'm not a CJP hater by any means but at some point we have to show something on the field, especially after beating Auburn last year and a much better than this year Kentucky team.

Jesus Christ, if that is what you got from my post you need to reread it a little slower. He is taking more risks with our program because he doesn’t care about it like he does a program like Bama. His approach is to tear everything down and then rebuild it. If he hated us then he would just be focusing on tearing it down. If he cared about the program he would focus on repairing it instead of a full rebuild.

Pruitt is no better than, and probably worse that Butch or Dooley and some folks just haven't realized it yet. Sometimes it takes time for some to marinate on it. Some others require a meat mallet to finally understand. Then there are some poor saps who eat the whole steak never realizing that what they just ate was not steak at all, but dog turds.

I'll be here when the dust settles on the Pruitt firing, whenever that, in fact, happens. then I'll sit you on my knee, tussle your hair and tell you how things really are in the big scary world.

And if they are better in December 2020, then you should be canned for calling yourself a Vols fan.

what is sad is that UT will win 5 games in 2020 and you'll be here calling that "better" which makes you a poor excuse for a Vols fan.

This fanbase will just continue to be divided for the foreseeable future. JP will have ample opportunity to prove if he's the guy or not. Some fans will be negative and some will make every excuse in the world as to why we're not having success.
The fan base not so much. Posters, yes.

vs Georgia State? Chattanooga? BYU??

what? You one of Jonathan Hefney's former clients??!!

Good effort, you were almost funny.

I lived through some bad years of football when Majors came back to UT. I didn't learn a lot in college, but those years taught me that there is no such thing as an instant fix. If that makes me a poor excuse for a Vols fan, so be it.

Buddy, first off it’s ”you’re”, secondly it doesn’t take a Saban to teach guys how to line up properly.

Pruitt and staff are failing on the simplest things that every coach should be able to teach. Lining up properly being the easiest of them all.

If a kindergarten teacher can teach 5 year olds to line up a freaking coach making close to $4M a year should be able to teach his guys how to line up.

Except he can’t and we’ve regressed hard on the offensive side of the ball. He won’t get six years buddy, he won’t get three if he keeps this up

Maybe you should be hired, wait

The '16 and '17 classes were garbage.

We did get Cimaglia in the '17 class ... that seems like almost half the scoring so far this year. Good thing because JG can't seem to get the ball across the goal line for a score.

There's not 85 scholarship players on campus. No way. Taking 3 from 2015 class (Taylor, Jennings and Lovingood), I count 68. At the end of the day, we have 80% of a team. It's a lot like being on probation. The qb play has been terrible, which makes it that much worse.

The failure to communicate with the portion of the fanbase that thought this was a 10 win team and the reality of what we really are is the biggest failure of the program or the football IQ of our fanbase. This was never a 9 or 10 win team by any stretch and it's not because of the current coaching staff. It's because of how bare the cupboard was when they got here. Like one poster said, "Not enough blue in 2015 and 2016 classes".

With normal attrition, graduation, NFL (gotta list it anyway), new transfer rules, and a hard 25 NCAA signing cap, getting to 85 may not happen. The NCAA will have to change the rules in the next few years; Tennessee isn't going to be the only victim; Orgeron is already complaining and LSU isn't doing so bad. And you are right, it's exactly like being on probation, and not many really limited probation teams are winners.

I love hearing all these dumbass post. YOUR one of them. YOU’RE a dumbass, I’m guessing a janitor with a lot of stupid comments. Do yourself a favor and shut the hell ip and support UT, not tear it down

You seem to have a whole lot of anger in your posts. In which you haven’t refuted what I’ve said about the coaches. Usually when someone has to jump straight to assumptions about another person’s life than that person has no argument to stand on.

I can support this program and still criticize the coaches when they make idiotic decisions and can’t seem to teach simple things that a grade school teacher could do.

Now you might blindly follow what ever coach we have on the sideline but I won’t.

There is no excuse for the what we’ve seen so far this year, and with this latest audio of Pruitt talking to the PD, he probably needs to be real careful at this point.

So if you don’t like me criticizing the coaches then you can block me, it’s pretty simple really.
