Jimmy is a business man for goodness sakes...he is still a Vol fan but if you owned a business selling do-dads would you not try to sell them to everyone or just to the Vols? I know this stuff is personal to a lot of you but Jimmy has NO desire to mess up UT. It’s not personal...It’s business...and his staff is compromised of very solid individuals...so try to have a reasonable view of all this...prob not though....

Right, I believe he has no desire to mess up UT. I also believe it's not about desire, it's about willingness. He's *willing* to mess up UT in the pursuit of a dollar.

And given his job, that's not a bad thing for him. But it also means we need to stop this crap about "He's a UT guy". He's first and foremost a Jimmy Sexton Bank Account guy.

He should not get preferential treatment or access for his clients at UT. But it appears that he does enjoy both special treatment and special access. At least he did in the past. IDK about Currie now.

By making us waste time on candidates he props up as his clients as being interested in the UT job while the client in fact leverages us for a pay raise at their school, just to name one.

In other words, he's good at his job.
