Everybody's a Dooley Supporter on Saturday

You have to have a chance to turn around what Kiffan left.

Get some cred and come back to me with that nonsense. You'll still be wrong and he'll still be gone. I'll, personally, set you failures up on a fun filled weekend in a place of your choosing. Please, don't say Gatlinburg. I can't stand the fact that the morons who support this lame duck are probably, by majority, paying for the rooms in my family's town. Shaking My Head.......

I am with you 100% OP. I think Dooley should be removed the day after the KY game. I think he has been a lousy coach. I would kill to see Gruden here next year. That said, I desperately want the Vols to beat Bama Saturday and for that reason alone I absolutely have to pull for Dooley Saturday. And I think that was your point. GBO!

All this No Dooley talk. Be ashamed! Dooley took us when no one would even touch us! No recruits no depth. But we are TENNESSEE we will be back one day soon. Dooley is getting the players here. and we are in alot of games we shouldnt be. This 3-4 defense is hurting with the linebacker shortage we have. I for one don't wont to start this coaching change crap! Petrino one or two and on to greener pastures. So lets give Dooley a couple more years. Cant be no worse than has been the last 5 years!

You're right. That's not his fault. Someone else is to blame for hiring him. Hopefully, he/they hire Saban as the coach in Cleveland and fulfill their mission to undermine the Alabama football program by stealing their coach, with copious amounts of cash, and then investing even more in getting us a Gruden. Good business accumen becomes mutha fuggin ruthless when the actuaries have been proven impotent and faulty in their most recent decision making skills, in regards to their primary love. I can't totally fault them. Love and business should be completely separate. I'm sure they've learned their lesson.

Nobody else would take us because we had an incompetent, cheap-ass AD who had no earthly idea how to draw up a contract.

Your "rah, rah, let's continue to suck for a few more years" attitude is disturbing.

I'm with you op. This Saturday really has nothing to with Dooley for me. Lots of barbecue, cornhole, frosty beverages, friends, hot women, Big Orange, the Vol Walk, POTS, Football time in Tennessee, Rocky Top, and hating bammers.

I am pulling for Tennessee on Saturday. If we win, it will not be because of Dooley's coaching, it will be in spite of his coaching. Talent alone wins games against the lower third of the SEC. Talent and good coaching wins you games in the middle third. Talent, excellent coaching, and a splash of good fortune win games against the elite. It will take a ton of fortune to make up for Dooley's lack of coaching ability to beat Alabama. Just my opinion. Rooting for the team while shaking my head at the coaching.

So just for clarification, is anyone here hoping Dooley loses on Saturday? I don't care whether you think he shouldn't be retained at the end of the year or even the week. All I'm saying is that you all want to see him and the rest of the team succeed and beat Alabama this weekend. All I'm sayin, geez.

I will never wish for Tn to lose and nobody else does Im sure. But Dooley has lost support and hes not getting it back.

"Gentlemen I stand here today looking at a team that has seen it all in 6 games. We've been way up and came crashing down just as fast. However I also stand here and see boys that are becoming men. When this season ends .....Hell we've all heard the rumors I might not be standing here, but for the next 60 minutes you take all that negativity from all you've heard all season social media, radio hell all of it...and you put all of that in every block you make, every pass you throw and catch. Justin you catch that pass over the middle regardless how close that safety is, Tyler you play 60 minutes of turnover free football and defense it's time to close the gate...Gentlemen in your college football career you'll have that one game you'll never forget that one game in 40 years when your telling your grandkids about it and you close your eyes you can still smell the grass at Neyland and hear Rocky Top being sung over a sea of orange.....Fellas let this be that game ....and when we run through that T tonight remember what General Robert Neyland said, "To defeat a weak opponent is not the problem: The problem is to win when he is as good or better than you"
.......Alright let's get em Go Vols!!!

No, but he's a member of the team, so he gets your support, correct?

Then do you remember everyone associated with our programs history with fondness? Kiffin is part of our family then. When he retires we should bring him back for a game in the future as the Vol of the Game. Dooley is part of the current team for one reason, he is paid very very well. Im guessing he wouldn't come here for only what a scholarships worth a year. Our players are doing that so yeah back them all you want. I am glad you want to back Dooley and stand up for what you believe in. But as for us that want the team to do well and realize that will only happen under new leadership, we will handle the situation our own way.

Nice job but when Dooley and staff have players in wrong formations, passing on clear run downs, too many or too few players on the field. Then speeches only last till kickoff then reality comes back.

By OPs reasoning if you do not support President Obama then you are a traitor and not a tru American.

Give me a break, I bleed orange but If the boys win I am convinced it is in spite of him not because of him....kind of like our economy.

Dooley is not the team. Is that simple enough for you? The team is called The University of Tennessee Volunteers. Not the Underachieving Team of Dooley.

Capische?

/

Let's try logic 101. You can't have The University of Tennessee Volunteers win and it coach Dooley lose at the same time. Or do you want Dooley to lose so bad that the team that you supposedly support must lose as well?

Capische?

Silly.

You can critique each for how they run things all you want....but when it's us against them...who do you support?

Even Bama is a Dooley fan. They want him to stay on as head coach at UT - forever.

No, Dooley is not a member of the team. He is a staff member, teacher (coach, supposedly) and employee of the UTAD. He does not play on the team. If he were doing the job for free, going to school for free, and staying in the dorm/eating meals for free - he would come closer to being on the team. But he would still not be on the team because he doesn't play one snap.

Some of you need to leave when Dooley does. Very soon.

Team? Yes. Dooley? No. Don't tell a man how to think or feel.

Why would you not be for Dooley? Makes no sense. This proves my point that you negavols are hoping for loss after loss to support your crap and get a new coach.

You're hoping for a 4-8 season, admit it!!!
