1-3 with Bama and Georgia still on the schedule. This team is 7-5, at best, with Crompton at quarterback.

Lets look at it from this perspective. The guys in the locker room are 18-22 years old, and sooner or later, they are going to turn on Crompton. Put yourself in their shoes. Wouldn't you get sick and tired of playing close games carried by your defense, but manage to lose them due to coaching and QB play? I know I would, and the players are going to start taking their frustrations out in the locker room. Sooner or later, given that Crompton is still the QB, the offense and defense are going to stop playing with the intensity we have known them for. (The Defense mainly.) How can you put your heart and soul into playing the game when the QB is inept, and the coaches won't do anything to make this facet of the game better?

Also something to keep in mind are the recruits. I doubt they are going to come to UT knowing that they are going to play mediocre football.

do'nt forget we have Bama, Geogia,SC,Vandy,i would say 5-7 is more the way it will be.
Untill there is a coaching change, UT is like a falling feather slowly falling to the bottom of the SEC.

I don't know. I foresee more than just two more losses...

GA and Ala are going to run through us.

We play USC as the eighth game in a row and it is in SC. That may be a tough one.

Vandy scares me.

the problem is if we lose to bama and ga, what kind of mind set will our players have by then, will they even care? KY, SC and Vandy will be more motivated to play us than us to play them i fear.

Pretty soon we'll get to hear that stat about how Fulmer wins 85% of his games in November and that his teams always play better at the end of the year.

Basketball season can't get here soon enough....
