I guess what makes it impossible for me to pull for bama especially is that I live in an area where I'm surrounded by their fans.
I'm sick and tired of their crowing and looks of pity.
I'm tired of their patronizing talk of how our new coach will turn us around (heard this every hire since Kiffin) all the while having to stifle their laughter.
So, screw them and their team forever and always.

Hoping, wishing, pulling, rooting, betting, screaming...etc. changes nothing. Nothing. Since it changes nothing, I feel better doing all of that against everyone but Tennessee.

I felt this way some in FL although the UT and FL fans in S. FL had a enemy of my enemy aspect to it. We *****ed at each other but were united in dislike for duh u and the criminoles.

I have always hoped that the SECs total domination would create enough consensus within A1 College Football to elevate the demand for a real play-off system involving all 10 conferences. Of course, the SEC would still dominate, but such a system would be more fair to the players and fans. Settle it on the field is the only righteous way. :rock: Then all the wanna-bees like OSU will have no excuse to whine.

What??? What do you mean the door is not flinging wide open?? I'd say after going 4-8 last year that door is not just wide open, it's knocked down.

We are on in some of the biggest names left and have a good shot at landing some of them and finishing top 15 before its all said and done. I'd like to know why you think this?

Edit: rivals rankings are a joke anyway, so there's another point I'd like to make.

Yeah, Rival rankings are a joke. Okay. Sure. It's just coincidence that Bama wins more titles than anybody while winning the best class under Rivals for most seasons this decade.
And we plopped to 20 since my last post. Just a "meh"class from a "meh" coach.
