Even the Vol network is calling out the staff

Where will you be when Butch does?

At least I will be at the beach to drink away my sorrows. Will be very surprised to win another sec game outside possibly South Carolina and maybe Mizzou and-or Vandy. Starting to be hard to honestly find 6 wins looking at the remaining schedule.

The games yesterday just shows that we are fully capable of getting beat by Mizzou, Ky, and S.C. These are no longer gimmes. The only gimmes are now Vandy and N. Tx.

The experts say FL has one of the SeC's best defenses. They shut KY down. UT put 27 on them without the benefits of turnover, special teams scores, or outstanding field position. This game tells me that we should be able to score on everybody we play...question is how many will they score on us?

Yeah, it's time to start another 5 year stretch with unknown coach.

It is. Because at least with an unknown coach, he might turn out to be great. We know now what the last unknown coach is. And he'll never win big. He's now squandered the lead in every significant game we've had under him.

It is so painfully obvious that they have no choice but to call them out!!!!!!

Staff has cost this team 2 losses - should be 4 and 0 and in top 15. Neither Okl or Fla are that good - the Vols have better talent but staff is pedestrian --- we have two defensive coaches that were fired by Mark R and we have a guy who was sitting in his retirement at UM as an Assistant AD as the OC......

This is what you get when you hire a decent mid-major coach who actually did not do as well at Cincy as his predecessor.

The thing is that both of those teams are good. We have the talent to beat anyone. We don't have the coaching. I don't know what to do. I almost want the team to lose out so we can get rid of Jones after this year.

There are no sure wins on the schedule. UGA and BAMA are disadvantaged. Ark, and Mizzou will be toss-ups. Ky may be a tighter match-up than we expect. So, 8-4 is possible, but really tough.

Did someone hack into your account? That's not the normal "Nationdom."

People have been duped by the high recruiting classes. Tennessee doesn't need any help recruiting. It recruits for itself. Just look at the facilities, the fan base, the history, the traditions. Butch is a salesman. Go write a blank check to an elite coach and watch them get top 5 recruiting classes too.

Really...Tennessee recruits for itself.....then what happened in the Dooley years?

We gave up 14 pts more to Florida than kentucky did......let that sink in for a minute!

KY, GA, aL, MIZZ, SC, Vandy,..... they all gon whip our azz
and Dooley will have an excuse for every one of them. Remember folks, we are young, close, and are starting to buy into the system... be patient... this is a long term plan where this program needs to simmer for about 5 yrs and then we can pull it out of the oven... according to the caretaker of UT football.

Cheek's job performance should not in anyway be tied to the football team's performance. Believe it or not, he has much more important educational things to worry about. It shocks me to read stuff like this.

You ever heard of "The Buck stops here"? He is the top dog. Everything at the University is his responsibility. Just because he delegates it to subject matter experts does not relieve him of that responsibility.

If I own a company that I built from the ground up, and someone I hire does not perform the requirements of that position, the customers don't keep paying me. They take their business elsewhere. It's my responsibility to make sure everyone in the company performs, otherwise I will lose my company. I have a responsibility to my other employees to take care of the problem so that they don't lose their jobs because of one person performing so poorly that we lose our customer base.

Grow up. This is how it happens out in the real world. I see it everyday. We had to lay off 12 people last week because of someone that refuses to except his responsibility or even try to correct the issues. If the same problem keeps happening at the same levels, then you need to start looking up the chain of command for the problem.
