Can someone summarize what they said/are saying?
Except one had mid-conference talent and one had top 10 facilities and coached and sec team.
Dooley would have blown this Florida team away with the exact same talent Butch has right now. Dooley's problem was all on defensive side - recruited wrong coaches and did not spend any energy recruiting good enough players to play in SEC on defensive side of the ball. But Dooley's offensive staff was NFL caliber (including Dooley himself when it comes to X's and O's).
Did anyone ever answer the question about 'why decline all those penalties?' I've been asking since the OU game and still can't figure it out. Especially when you get a penalty that will back them up closer to their own goal line?
