There was a picture posted on here and you can see what looks like a bean bag. Give me a second and i will try to find it.

At first i said he was pointing at it...but after watching the video on youtube it looks like he was tossing something

i watched it over and over and could not find a bean bag, flag, hat, nothin. just a pointed hand and two unsuspecting bama players suddenly out of the blue realizing the ball was there after looking at the ref. hhmmmmm......

his pointing hand does kinda look like he might be tossing something but further review reveals nothing resembling a bean bag anywhere near the ball. fail again bammer?

This is getting embarassing. FYI - There was a previous post by a guy who was a ref for 20 years - He said that the responsibility of that ref was to point out the ball to the back judge, and that's what he was doing.

As much as we want that penalty. Nothing is going to change. we shoulda made one of the other 2 field goals. We had our chances but didnt take advantage of them

have you not noticed that much of this is to egg on the bammers, who apparently feel compelled to convince us that they beat us straight up? Those clowns are like moth to a flame wanting affirmation from us.

Uum you guys were beat straight up. Kicking field goals are a part of the game. Both offenses sucked that night, so the game basically boiled down to special teams.

good point about special teams.......and what about penalties?? are penalties not part of the game?? Is throwing your helmet off on a live play not a 15 yard penalty? Can the game not end on a penalty??

Get your brain back in your head, and analyze that......bet u never went to USC, that's why u couldn't think of this!! :eek:lol:

Vol fan here. If he was indeed pointing, then how do we know it was specifically for Bama? Unless he said "Hey Bammers! Pick that **** up, Slive wants you in the championship game!", couldn't a UT player have seen the point and jumped on it?

Anyways, we play South Carolina this week...

So you would want a penalty called that would have no effect on the game? Bama took possession of the ball genius. A penalty would have back THEIR offense up.

Worse case scenario, they take a knee 15yards from where the ball was recovered.
