I think everyone who is a fan of all Vols athletics agree that a change is needed, but I don't think the words used are called for. This program has become a death circus with a damaged and deranged clown as the hapless and hopeless ring leader. That Harley riding hack has systematically destroyed this storied program. The Clueless Clown may as well be standing there with a big red nose and a horn playing taps in memory of what was once something that was a source of pride...but is now simply a tragedy. A botched abortion with its grisly effluence staining whichever basketball court this tsunami of suck drags themselves onto. Thanks Holly. Thanks for taking something that was so special and good...and turning it into the embarrassment it has tragically become. Its sickening what this bozo has done to this program.
Indeed a word of acknowledgement of just who's in charge of interest, inspiration and preparation was definitely called for. No question this team and program are more mentally fragile than Grandma's fine china. But how'd that happen? And as usual Holly takes no blame- her comment was THEY played uninspired and uninterested !! Whose job is it to get players inspired and interested??????? Get on your Harley and go!!!!
Yeah, never mind sweet tactful Tamika, Wells clapped back like a pro. She's right of course but dang she and Carter are prissy and I won't be sorry to see them go 0 fer against an interested defensive team and make an early tourney exit.Haaaa - Loved Wells comment - she knocks down a three and another and she said after the game- well they left me open again so might as well take it-- her words
Those words reflect on that particular individual only. Unfortunately, these outlier "opinions" serve only to poison the picture even further, especially from those looking in from the outside. The program is in disarray, but unfortunately, there are a few, thankfully very few, who project an unfashionable venom into the conversation.I think everyone who is a fan of all Vols athletics agree that a change is needed, but I don't think the words used are called for.
It's very unfair to disregard her years of service and even to imply she wanted it to end this way. I can only imagine how painful and embarrassing this is for her, especially in the circumstances of Pat's passing. I don't think its ever been about money for her.
However, IMO we are at the point where if she just cannot emotionally accept she needs to move on its the absolute duty of her bosses and of those who care for her personally to have an intervention. The damage the program is incurring requires it.
