Even More Obamacare Follies

After many pages of tripe, finally an actual issue. This is ridiculous. Medical inflation is the lowest it's been in years.

BlueCross [Tennessee] requests 36% premium hike for '16 plans
Everyone against Obamacare said this was coming. If you are surprised by this then you bought into the BS or didn't comprehend it to begin with. This will get much, much worse in the next 2 years when other aspects of the law kick in (that Obama took executive action to delay so it wouldn't cost the democrats in the last elections).

Humana and Cigna are also requesting increases for their individual plans — 15.8 percent and 0.4 percent.

Appears Blue Cross is not doing something right

Well, I imagine Cigna can offset the increase by raising the price of prescriptions. They own CVS.

I would imagine that the reason cigna isn't asking much is because they have a much higher deductible. At least the plans I've seen in this area do. People are a little pickier about what they go to the er and Dr about.

But yea.. Bcbs isn't doing something right if they're asking for that big of an increase.

In all, less than 250,000 individuals decided to enroll nationwide meaning that millions of Americans would rather pay the tax than enroll in Obamacare.

Are there senile people out there reading websites such as this who still believe there is such a thing as an "Obamacare" health plan?

What if Cigna isn't asking for as much of an increase because their premiums are higher to begin with than those of BCBS?

I had bcbs two years ago. My dad has cigna right now. My premiums then we're higher than his now. The only difference is his deducible is about 2 grand higher so it's just picky on what he gets checked out. So I highly doubt that's the case. Of course I can't say for sure.

How many signed up in the open enrollment period?

Funny you and the article don't mention that.

(Hint: It was over 11 MILLION people. But hey, don't let those pesky facts get in the way)

11 million? Signed up and PIAD or just put it in their cart or brought just dental?

Dimwhit, one of those articles is over a year old and the second is from September and neither give hard numbers, just estimates.

2 years into this thing and hard numbers are not available?

No hard numbers. LOL. Your denial of facts has hit an all time high.
