ETA: Just looking at your chart, 50% was the highest point it ever hit. And averaged in the 40s and 30s. That's just one source. Got anything else that might help you that I can giggle at?

If Tennessee finished 6-5-1 would you conclude they won the majority of their games?
Of the ten percent who didn't respond, chances are good some of the would have said yes or later agreed.
So yeah, I'd say it's fair to call that the majority. If nothing else we can all agree the majority of people who responded were in favor.

The stats I posted yesterday showed that in June of 2010, 50% of Americans supported the ACA.
We asked:
"As you may know, a health reform bill was signed into law in 2010. Given what you know about the health reform law, do you have a generally favorable or generally unfavorable opinion of it?"
