Not sure if it's escaped your attention...but Obama, Carney, and the rest of the merry Democratic sycophants have been working in an area they don't understand...and have told some real whoppers along the way.

The direct employer cost was only one or two percent. But in the linked news report anecdote, the employee rate hike was well into double digits.

A mystery to me is how Oregon and Maryland are doing so terribly.

According to NPR, Oregon paid Oracle $40+ million to build its website . . . and it's still not working.

The website appears to now be functional with 1 million visitors reported visited the site Monday.

Obama says the ACA will not be repealed as long as he is president but he is willing to work with both sides to make it a better law.

The GOP needs to focus on making this a better law instead of repeal. Anyone with an IQ over 80 has known with a Dem Senate and the ACA being the POTUS signature legislation, no way this law is going to be repealed. It cannot be made perfect but it CAN be made better. Our congress needs to legislate, if they haven't forgot how to.

You can't polish a turd...I know it's cliche but true . Mr arrogant is in denial when he says he's open to ideas from the gop. Not one rep voted for this pos law. Guess we will have to wait till the GOP takes back the senate and retains the house in 2014 ...and believe you me , it's coming.

Dems vote unanimously (partisanly) to destroy health care with this idiotic law that nobody (except the Republicans) read before voting on. Now it is the Republicans that need to fall on the grenade and give up on their goal of getting rid of the worst piece of legislation in the country's history? Keep dreaming. Obama has declared himself captain of this retarded ship. He is going straight to Davey Jones' locker when the GOP let's it run its course.

only the front end is functional. Long way to go before the claim can be made that the site itself is functional

It they do it will not be repealed then unless they gain a 2/3 rd majority to override a veto. As low as both sides are polling, I do not see that happening.

They need to do something productive and make it a better law. I am sure both sides COULD sit down and agree on some ways to make it better.

I can't figure out what the incentive for the Repubs would be to sit down and try to fix this law right now. Any fixes will be credited to the Dems/Obama and they lose any advantage from the imminent failure of the ACA. It's the law the Dems wanted so just let them own it

They have tried... By the time the midterms roll around there will be millions more who have lost their policy. The 5 million plus who've already lost coverage is just the beginning .

Obama does not need the GOP to fix the ACA. If congress does not fix it all they are doing is driving us into a Medicare for all which is what O and the majority of the Dems wanted to begin with

Come on, anyone who thinks the GOP is going to suddenly don the hat of working together to improve the ACA is absolutely dreaming. If anything, they will continue to trip over another one in the race to make the most extreme comments about it.

The rhetoric is going to get worse. Far worse. Not better.
