wonder what that translates to in 40 yards? He gets out of blocks pretty fast so I would say he runs a legit 4.35-4.40 or slightly less?!

He obviously won't be a RB like Chris Johnson, but he'll bring that threat every time he touches the ball. I like it...hopefully he's got decent hands.

I can see it now, short slant over the middle....BOOM! Give him 6!

I would think more like a 4.2X with a 10.01 100 meter....

maybe not.

Someone get on TSS and ask him what his 40 is.

Let run some wild vol, how effective would he be if done right? Anyone recall a RB for ole miss I think his name was Mc"Ijustbrokerecordsagainstthevols"Cluster. OR another fast guy in Chris Johnson.

Yea, Derrick Locke is a bit much to ask. He's a Legit RB who is very physical.

10.01 would have qualified him for US Nationals finals in the last 6 yrs.

welcome aboard, Evander :salute:

10.01 would have got you on the Olympic team in 2008

hmmm I dont believe Tyson Gay had to qualify because he won Worlds the previous yr, so I think Wells spot would have been gone . not 100% sure my memory my be failing me

I just heard about him myself. He is apparently a speedster from the track team, but not sure if he can catch. Could be like Leonard Scott, but Scott came to UT as a football player. He still couldn't catch very good, but sure could run.

I was about to say. Sure hope he can catch. Pass, Kick Off, Punt.

Eligibility question....

Even though he is a SR in track, since he has not stepped on the football field in his 3 years on campus, wouldn't he have 2 years of football eligibility left (counting one of his 3 years in college as a redshirt year)?

They say he is coming in to play WR, IMO they way we are stacked at WR, (I mean Dooley just announced today that he was moving Meline and Teague to defense) that he is coming in to be a return specialist. They say WR because they usually don't just label someone as a return specialist alone unless I am sadly mistaken.

Dude has 6.61 in 60 meters. Meter is a little longer than a yard so I would guess low to mid 4.3's. Here's a stab: 4.33 speed!
