Sun Belt player at best

Like "Mean Joe" Green.
Now you write, "That's the exception to the rule".
He is obviously SEC caliber or he wouldn't have started thirty games.
Evan is a great player. Again, there's a reason DY was starting. Maybe you should take in a practice our two.

Anyone see how fluid his hips and legs were after bouncing off the tackler towards the sideline?!?!?! Looks an aweful like someone else who use to sling those legs around while breaking speed barriers!!! :) :) :)

Not trying to rain on anyone's happiness, but he ran into the back of his own blocker and then got lucky there was no one on the outside. Maybe he will be great, but not enough to tell off of one kickoff.

Please no golden shower goldenvol. It was the biggest play of the game.

Nice to hear it doesn't bother you that he broke his ribs giving his best effort for UT. Stay classy

It's not about class. It's about on field performance. DY has not done anything this year and looked very slow against UT-C.

If he doesn't exhibit speed on the field, what other game does he have? Sit him down till he is 100% healthy again. He is not doing us any good playing injured.

I was happy to see that play, but lets be honest that was more UTC getting out of their lanes and him taking advantage.
Having said that, that happens a lot and takes vision to see it, so hopefully he can prove to coaches he is ready for SEC play.

Yes it is about class. Act like you have some and quit enjoying the fact that a kid who have his all for UT football may never get to suit up again. His game may not be up to your standards but he deserves more respect than he's being given.

If I remember correctly DY's first return was pretty dang good too

For you class. For me performance. See how far having class gets you in business over performance. Most classy coaches that don't win fade away quickly. I can't get false emotions over someone who gets hurt. Life is tougher than the game of football.

Be honest. They are pieces of meat out there and they know it better than we do. One gets hurt; roll him off and get the next one out there fast. Just like the Coliseum in Rome. As the lions were eating one Christian, the next live one was thrown out there. No difference here with the punt team.

Ooooook. A LITTLE bit extreme here. I think our coaches do care about DY. I bet Evan cares about DY quite a bit. But I bet he's also happy he gets his own chance to shine now. That how it works. Not equating a student athlete to one of the worst degradations of humans and religious freedom in recorded history.

Berry took a good lick. He will learn and get better. These freshmen are all learning valuable lessens this year. For those who can, just wait!
