So I thought video review was funny, and thought I'd try it just for laughs......I do have a G27 wheel and it as supposed to support it well...not really the kind of racing game I had in mind when I got it........next thing I know I stayed up all night driving trucks. Got to just make a few more deliveries to pay off my loan!!!! I never would have thought this game could be this addictive. Similar fun of test Drive Unlimited 2. Just exploring world. Not a speed game....more of a control game, and eventually I will figure out how to back up the truck without cheating and using above view.

Without the G27, or at least a G25 doubt it would be as much fun......but if you have a good racing wheel. Awesome feed back, and one of the highest detailed 3d worlds I have seen, and very good AI for traffic.

Cool details,

FF is excellent feels like a truck, love the rumble, and breaking.
Radio is built in to download internet radio....so if your taking a trip from Switzerland to Poland delivering Cheese, you can tune into actual real radio stations from those countries...or just say fook it and listen to American trucker stations. Or your own music if you like. Listening to the local euro stations was very subversive though.
This is only half a driving game, it's very much a business/empire game too, your trying to build a trucker empire. First you take jobs for other companies saving for your own truck, eventually you hire other drivers and buy other trucks etc.
If you have a uber Graphics card (GTX 670 FTW here) the lighting is just some of the best I have seen....was not prepared for graphics to be this good. I swear at night especially it feels like a late night drive. Lighting is perfect....
These trucks are a heck of a lot more maneuverable then an 18 wheeler in the U.S. The down side is European roads are narrow and a heck of alot more unforgiving, and bizarre traffic merging, have to be careful or you can be forced into wrong turn and having to back track over the alps.

Not for everyone.....But I dig it......also fun is making it a drinking game. All the fun of driving tons of metal while doing shooters like you'd expect being a menace, without the nasty danger to your own life and others, and certain jail time. Good times.

I'd get in a wreck in the first minute because I'd drive on the right side of the road.

Only England does that.....it is confusing though when your driving on right side and then take a ferryboat to England.

I'd say more but I got to make some route to pay for some chrome on my SCANIA....and Train Simulator 2014 just came out.....so many things to do.... very exciting.

They need a co-op road building game. Fleetwood would be a perfect cement mixer driver, sitting on his ass all day and basking in the stench of his own farts.

Can I be the guy to watch the guy who holds the slow and stop sign?

They should ship this game with an ounce of meth to handle the long, mind numbing trips where absolutely nothing happens.

Would make for a more authentic trucking sim.
