Water sales will be huge
I bet a person could go to Sam’s Club and get a 32 pack of Aquafina for 3.99 and profit nearly $35.00 a case for $1 a bottle. You could sell a case in less than 30 minutes and buy a pair of tickets with that original $4.00 that you bought case of water with.

Probably 4 against Florida? 3:30 cbs?:thud:

Usually 330, but this year I dont think CBS will pick that up. Arkansas @ Auburn, Texas A&M @ Alabama, and Georgia @ Missouri will all be picked ahead of us most likely. I expect us to be 7pm ESPN2 or 7:30 sec network.

How much is a permit to sell on gameday?

I would say nothing. I normally see several selling water just for general profit between Neyland and where I park especially last season near the strip. Normally someone got a cooler filled with bottled water before and sometimes after games on the side of the walk ways.

I bet your profit would be closer to $27.60.

Lol you’re right. See what happened was... uh. Lol. I should have subtracted $4.00 but still people are making better than $25 a case. Those 2 cream puffs teams we play you could easily sell a couple of cases of water and get a decent scalped pair of tickets.

I’m totally fine with not being on CBS except maybe the bammer game. Gary can cheer for bammer every weekend if thats the case. Everybody wins, well, except that one weekend.

Good I want a night game against Florida again. Last one was 2012 I believe at 6. Never been more pissed driving back to Chattanooga after an L. Let’s beat the Gators under the Neyland lights.

I agree. I would rather have a late evening or night game vs Florida because of heat but will be there regardless unless I am 6ft under.

UF- UT won’t be a 4pm SEC Network game...that would mean it was the last game selected when it comes to the actual broadcast order.

The only major games that weekend are: UF-UT, A&M-Alabama, and Arkansas-Auburn (technically UGA-Missouri also, but that’s more likely only going to be eyed relative to UGA’s ranking at that time of the season).

So you’re likely looking at one of the following broadcast time options for UF-UT: 3:30 on CBS or one of the two 7pm timeslots on ESPN/ ESPN2.

If UGA is ranked high enough (and Missouri got ranked for some reason), then there’s also a chance that UF-UT could get pushed to a 12pm timeslot, but it wouldn’t be any more than that.

If all 3 of those were selected higher for TV broadcast, that would remove the possibility of the 7pm ESPN2 time slot.

Doesn’t one of the noon timeslots - either on ESPN or SECN - have the next timeslot selection priority?

We’re pretty much the most likely matchup for the Nov. 17 CBS game. The only SEC vs SEC games that weekend are: UT-Missouri, Ole Miss - Vanderbilt, and Arkansas-Mississippi State.

CBS is required to choose one of those 3 games. Unless Arkansas and Mississippi State end up ranked that late in the season (or UT and Missouri each only have 3-4 wins at that point in the season), our game is likely the favorite.

We’re also likely going to be on CBS for the Alabama game (the next-best matchup that weekend is Auburn-Ole Miss).

There’s a good chance of our Sept 29 game (against UGA) being a CBS selection. The SEC games that weekend are: UT-UGA, USCe-UK, UF-Miss St, Ole Miss-LSU, Arkansas-A&M.

The only other week I think there’s a chance is the Auburn game, but the UGA-LSU game the same weekend is likely the easy favorite.

We don’t have a shot either of the doubleheader weekends unfortunately (Nov 3 and Nov 10).
