Ethan Wolfe laying out for those big catches

I think this guy is overlooked a bit. I know we've had great tide ends here before, but this kid plays hard! I loved the way he laid it out on that near catch at the start of the second quarter verses GT. He made a great catch and YAC to help us get that first score. Also, didn't he catch a beauty against Florida last year. I think he's a difference maker and can't wait to see what he does with a more accurate passer in Dormady.

He was there when we needed him Most Monday. However, on early 3rd down in the first half he did miss a PERFECT pass from Dormady

I disagree. I think blocking is his biggest weakness. He has had some drops, but I think he will get a look in the NFL, either as a 3rd day draft pick or as a free agent. I like the kid and think he plays hard and has improved every year.

may make an NFL practice squad unless he comes on strong in league play this year. That is within his reach. Practice team players get paid well and a lot of NFL coaches go there when they place a player on IR or PUP list. Automatic pay increase when they get on the roster.

Normally, I would agree with u. But, they are not doing it on purpose, names can be tricky and half of VN can't spell, anyway.

That's what you call negative? I head shake in shame for you. What he said was accurate. Our TE that is appreciated had two drops that I remember. Those drops were big catches. Both were first downs and one would have put us in the red zone.

That's obviously never gonna happen. Ethan is a good, solid receiver and an average blocker. He's acknowledged he needs to get better there and I'm certain he's worked on it, he's always seemed like an honest, sincere, hard-working kid. Wish him nothing but the best and a big senior season. Could lead to him being a late round pick or at least an udfa.
