I think Florida wins.

I can see them losing, but I think they win.

One of the things going on, is that Florida is still practically having tryouts. I expect that to end this week.

I think they start to settle on some people at positions and you won't see things like a former walk-on running back be given a hand off in the 4th quarter of a tight game.

Of course Florids wins. Next topic....

Or maybe we lose on cbs because its usually against an elite ranked opponent with superior talent?

Some of you are complete fools. Correlation is not causation. There isn't a curse by cbs or checkerboard neyland when we lose. It just so happens they coincide when we play elite opponents.

We've got some bad karma going on !

Florida 2014 was FAR from elite.

I got my tickets last week, was going to drive over to the game, but I know better. Going to Bham instead to watch the Auburn
game with my daughter. She hates LSU almost as much as I hate Alabama.

We had a more talented roster than they did. And we were at home. And we had a lead.......

Worley lost the game at the beginning of the 2nd half and at the end of the game.

The pick in the end zone after half time was inexcusable.

Driskel and Harris are both more talented than Worley.

CBS to televise the UT-UF game, can only guess what Gary Danielson has to say about Butch and company.

Thankfully Florida is far enough out of the top 25 that they won't be ranked even with a win over UK, so they won't be able to harp on our record against ranked teams.

Instead the narrative will be UT's overall SEC record and 10 loss streak against the Gators. I would also imagine they will be more focused on how the game is a great chance for Jim McElwain to get a signature win rather than it being a great chance for Butch to get the Florida monkey off his and the program's back.

People outside of VN love Butch. They looked at scores and highlights and saw a close game. They didn't see running a hurry up O with a 14 point lead In the 4th

Even without Florida being ranked... there is plenty to talk about to make UT look bad.

Chiefly losing to a 4-8 2013 Gators squad and a 7-5 2014 Gators squad after carrying a 2 score lead into the 4th Quarter.

Point is... people will harp on and criticize Tennessee until we actually do something of worth. Even a win against Florida won't be much for the national perception of UT. OU was one of 3 real chances we had this year and we blew that one.

If Jones, in Year 3, wants to send a signal that UT is coming back.. we've got to close out a win against a big-time opponent. Unfortunately Arkansas is out as a potential one and Mizzou/USC/Florida all have looked bad so far. Mizzou might turn things around like they did last year (struggled with Toledo and lost to Indiana early on).
