Josh Dobbs the right mid-round quarterback for the Giants? - Big Blue View
I've been big on Dobbs ending up on the Cleveland Browns. But now that I think about it a little more, the NY Giants might be the more ideal landing spot. The Giants have a ton of talent on offense. They have Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard that are both young stud WRs. Brandon Marshall is a reliable big target at receiver. They always have good TEs. Plus Eli Manning is not getting any younger at 36 years old. This could be an ideal landing spot for Dobbs like Dak had with Dallas. Who knows? If Eli gets nicked up Dobbs could just run away with the job like Dak did.
I didnt expect to like Josh Dobbs when I sat down to watch the tape based on the disappointment that Tennessee had in terms of wins and losses and some of the frustrations that he had, but the more I watch the tape the more I like the guy, McShay said.
I thought he was really good at the Senior Bowl. When he got some pro coaching and worked on the timing and mechanics with his feet I think if he gets in the right place, because of his intelligence, his athleticism and his better than anticipated accuracy I think hes got a chance to be a solid starter in the league. I really, truly believe that.
He and Nate Peterman from Pitt are the two most underrated quarterbacks in this class.
