ESPN's Plan Foiled

It was painfully obvious they wanted tonight to be the set up to push Klubnik to be the Heisman front runner for next season. Instead, from looking at the kid's jersey by the end of the game you would have thought green was an official color of Clemson. Well, at least we are all now scholars on all things Klubnik thanks to ESPN's lobbying.
It was ridiculous.. At one point I hollered at the TV (like a dumbass) "STFU already, I'm good on the Club Nick info.."

This might be the best thing to happen to Klubnik. He saw what the college game is, and how quickly it can go bad. He made inexperienced decisions. He probably out talented kids in high school. Can’t really do that in college where the talent is more equal. I think he will be alright.
Dabo on the other hand made some terrible decisions, and one year of going down can be an anomaly. Two years of not reaching expectations starts to feel like a trend. Not having an allstar qb, and losing his assistant coaches have hurt him it appears. Only time will tell.
Maybe Klubnik will hit the portal in the near future and transfer to TN if he is serious about winning.

Dabo has the same problem as Saban, he won big with 5 stars at every position, but with NIL and a wide open portal, he doesn't have that level of talent and has 5 stars at 6 or 7 positions now, his in game coaching ability is only slightly above average and they will run the ACC table but end up on the outside looking in at a 7 or 8 seed come playoff time

Lol. Klubnik had zero chance at being the Heisman front runner regardless of what he did against us. The front runner and favorite is Caleb Williams. He will probably be the first player since Archie Hrifgith to win the award twice.

While Klubnik is good, the ESPN shills were embarrassing. Besides the grass stains, hope the youngster can live with the imprint of #24 from his backside.

Dabo lost both coordinators from last years team. He has always been a CEO head coach. They are trending down, but the ACC is a joke.
The way Dabo goes into fits on the sidelines when they have a bad play ( gets in the faces of players/coaches etc) I can see why his staff would bail on him as well as players. There's coaching, and then there is looking like a jerk on nation wide tv

He's a good QB.
They don't have Championship caliber players around him YET. Just Shipley really.

They need to hit the portal HARD.

Isn't Dabo a guy who's stuck in the past and doesn't believe in taking players from the portal? No way they trend upwards with that kind of thinking especially when they have players opting into the portal to leave the program.

Agree. They’ve really fallen off in skill position talent. I think the days of Clemson being a nationally relevant powerhouse could be fading.

They will still win the weak ACC, but get exposed against SEC teams in the expanded playoff. Like Oklahoma.

Loved the failed fake fg, icing on the cake we stuffed little Dabo. Stupid call and poor execution. Also what's with Dabos kid being in at receiver when they still had a chance, albeit a small one, to get back in the game?

Doesn't negate ESPN's want or love of all things Klubnik.

We helped Klubnik get an NIL deal w/ Oxi Clean last night. So last night wasn’t a total loss for him .
