Yeah, I saw this on the Dashboard but I can't find anywhere that says it's release date?

You know, with this & Facebook, Twitter, Netflix, ect... Why won't Micro$oft just go ahead & release a web browser?

Because they make more money from these companies from having a deal with them to have the "apps" on the dashboard.

Excellent point.

And if it does release in November I guess that's cool. NCAA BB season is just starting then.

How helpful! We get it right when CB ends. This is almost as useful as a flash drive update that doesn't let you copy to your hard drive!

Im assuming it won't be free.

It's already been stated that it's free for Xbox Live Gold members. Wouldn't be surprised if they bumped up the price of Xbox Live Gold like has been rumored for a while now. With PSN+ coming it seems likely.

ESPN3 is already available on my cable/internet package. It would be cool to have it on my box though.

Or if you're connecting through a .edu or .mil it will also pass-through your connection.

I thought 360 was killed and espn3 was it's free access successor. So, xbl, ISP, .edu or .mil are the only ways though.

If you want to be a tricksy hobbit... you can use a proxy hosted by a .edu as a lot host those connections. Your video quality will be terrible and unless it's a reliable port it might not be up for a whole game.

funny thing there is that PSN+ is actually the first payment those guys make on their system's online play

of course yes, it's microsoft, they'd be willing to raise prices on an excuse worse than that (not saying it's a bad one) and I kinda feel they've always been that way

I have AT&T for Internet and I really enjoy watching other out of conference games. Can't wait until I can watch them on the big screen in HD!

Honestly when this goes down i will have live sporting events on the 360 and can watch all my TV shows on here, i might not need to pay 70 bucks a month for cable.

Just a quick question, I dont remember, but were the games on ESPN U on ESPN 3 as well?

Just depends most of the time.

sometimes, but yeah depends

I'l pretty sure those ESPNU games were not on ESPN360. I am 100% sure none of the UT games that were on the U were on there because until recently ESPNU was not offered in HD on Directv and I would try and watch them on ESPN360 because the quality was actually better than a stretched picture on the flat screen and was unable to...

Yeah. Far as I know, ESPNU is part of a sports package. Also Comast now includes it in their basic digital cable subscription.
