I thought ESPN did a great job tonight talking about CPF and showing video. I was impressed.

I thought they did the man right sending him out

Agreed. Kudos to ESPN. I was more impressed with their send-off to Fulmer than the university's although Fulmer may have requested a low profile send-off from the university.

yeah i appreaciate that they only mentioned Kiffin for a very brief moment. I had to tell people around me who Kiffin was because they have never heard of him tho :(

Could've done without Vicki...

Surprised she didn't stand next to him the whole game.

I agree 1000%. I was actually shocked that they handled the gig with the class they did. I was truly impressed. Heres to you ESPN, hats off to ya :hi:

I too agree. I thought the annoucers did a solid job. I was about to tear the TV off the wall when the game did not come on at 6:30 on ESPN2HD. They showed 30 minutes of Robert Smith and 2 other talking heads ramble on about the situation in the Big 12. At least they could have done is advised the audience the game was on ESPN Classic. The only way I found that out was on Vol Nation.

I don't have HD, but it did run across the bottom of the screen on ESPN2 (non-HD) that the game was going to be on "Classic" until the end of the current game. I saw it in time to watch the pre-game running through the "T" with Fulmer and the seniors.

i agree. i think espn did a good job of "letting him have his moment." I also think that they did a good job of not asking him "tough questions" at the end of the game.

It's their journalistic responsibility to ask about the next coach and try to get him to make some kind of "headline" comment, but they didn't. +1 for ESPN tonight.
