As usual ESPN and Chris Low have covered the charges and accusations of this review and then stopped reporting.

If the accusation gets a front page view on ESPN's website, then how can the Families statements not get equal coverage. They are both speculative and subjective at best. I am really tired of this turncoat guy always pointing out the negative about UT and seemingly never giving UT a fair and equal forum. He is quiet possibly the worst kind of sensationalist reporter.

Just wonder if anyone else feels the same.

He used to work for the Tennessean. That pretty much explains his angle.

Same thing happened with the "Kiffin offers 13 yr old boy scholarship" story. It was all over the front page of all the major sites, ESPN, yahoo, etc., but there was no retraction story when turned out to be completely 100% false. If there was one, it certainly wasn't on the front page. Journalism standards have definitely gone down the toilet.

He sticks it in UT whenever he gets a chance. All the radio guys in the state use him on the air as a SEC and UT GURU and I think that could not be farther from the truth. I wish people would boycott any show he appears on.

Just hoping with all this extra coverage they can learn to get the logo right.

Low wants to show what an unbiased reporter he is so he craps on UT.

Tony Blowhard Barnhardt said something to the tune of "If Tennessee did what they are insinuating they did, they could be in a lot of trouble". He said this without knowing any more than anyone else. It really seems like people go out of their way to take jabs at Lane.

Tony Barn-yard is a Ga homer in bad need of a new hairpiece.

This is an example of the "drive by media". They start shooting, leave the scene in chaos and never return to clean up the mess. This is very typical. They love bandwagons and are all politically correct tools.

I believe this is a bump in the road to the overall future of the program. Even if we lose a couple of recruits, we will recover. The flames are being fanned by a competitor and we will get the facts sooner or later.

The (Flames) should be small puffs of smoke. Nothing will come out of this and ESPN and most newspapers will move to the next story. Meanwhile UT will be left to clean up the mess with recruits. Maybe it works for us in the long run. Kids today kinda like the outlaw image...

Excerpt from article on mrsec.com, very interesting

Let’s suppose I told you about an SEC coach.
A coach who had a string of secondary violations in a little less than half a year.
A coach who had to apologize at last year’s SEC meetings in Destin.
A coach who caught flak for giving a troubled defensive back a second chance.
Yep, I’m talking about Ole Miss’ Houston Nutt.
What? You had someone else in mind?

All day, my inbox has been filled by Tennessee fans who are of the impression:

A) Everyone is out to get Lane Kiffin
and
B) The media plays up any and all troubles connected to UT’s coach.
Allow me to answer both charges: True and true.

His brashness rubs everybody, except for you guys, the wrong way. He painted a target on himself. He wanted the attention and he is getting it even if some of it is unwarranted.

ESPN / ABC have long had it out for UT. It started with them screwing Peyton over the Heisman and hasn't stopped.

I expect Chris Low will probably continue follow up reports on this, including reporting what the recruits and their families are saying. He may be trying to get some direct interviews himself.

If he ain't got it by now. "Hes a day late, and a dollar short".

Willis and Millers parents have already made statements.

Chris Low hasen't been objective with the Vols for several years now. If he continues reporting on this story that means he will be trying to cover the tracks of his initial statements. Thats how he works, he is a story leach and rairly has a story of his own.....
