If Tee's not coming to be OC with Venables as the coach, how about Joe Craddock as an OC? He's coaching under Morris at SMU and was at Clemson as well.

I am really enjoying this board's interaction and I'm thankful to be a part but I'm very surprised that no one ever seems to have any real info that is accurate and/or not already well known. I just find it very hard to believe that no one out there knows what's going on or has any insight or inside information. The suspense is becoming almost unbearable. When we fired Currie and hired Phil I am hopeful again. Probably described as cautiously optimistic. I feel confident we have the money but not sure we'll spend it. Our community, our family and friends all put a lot of pride in this football program. Please UT give us a winner, with great character and great charisma! It's long overdue for the greatest fan base in the entire world!!!!

We could do worse than Venables. Still holding oit fading hope for Les, but I will get 100 pct behind a defensive guy like Venables

FWIW....to those with doubts about brining in a mere coordinator to head coach.....It seemed to not go too badly for Georgia.

Lets get this thing done already and get back to business. Early signing day approaching like a five locomotive freight train coming down the grade and pickung up speed.

Venables recruited those players. Pruitt separated the locker room at Georgia and has had Saban as a crutch for most of his college coaching career

Venables is said to be loyal and did his time at Okie and Clemson. Read he gets $1.7 mil per year as a DC. Not bad pay for a coordinator. Offer him 4-5 mil per year and be willing to fudge a little. Don’t let him go to Ark.

So, Steele on his last nerve come game day and Pruitt got hisself a bad face. Look like you telling me it ain't fittin'; it ain't fittin'; it just ain't fittin'!

Based on what reason would someone hire Tee Martin....because he went to UT. Brent Venables or Tee Martin might neither make a great head coach.

That being said Venables moved Clemson from being an ACC contender into a National Champion and 3 time playoff team to-date.

It was not Dabo's culture, his head coaching skills or the offense that they ran.

Makes me wonder if Venables is in for UT, otherwise why hire Morris if you are Arky.
