UGGGHGHGHGHG I hate saying this but you're right about Tebow. The guy is one of the top 3 greatest players in NCAA history.
Now, Clowney, I would say AT LEAST top 5 just because he is that important to USCe in their defense. Teams play around ONE guy on the DL and that means the guy is a monster over there.
If Johnny Manziel or Cam Newton had played before Tim Tebow you wouldn't even remember his name. He was the 1st successful spread qb in the Sec. Compare his stats to Manziel or Newton and he looks mediocre. Tebow was the 1 st good dual threat spread qb but not the best.
Not that I think Clowney isn't a good and maybe a great player someday>>but that day is 4-5 years away...but edge rushers can be controlled by blocking >>chips from TE, RB and then they have to deal with the OT...where as the middle rushers 1-2 blockers is usually the only 2 that they have to worry about.
