Several here we have been discussing but the only mention of UT is with Marlon Brown...

These 10 prospects will make coaches very happy in the next few weeks. - ESPN

Marlon Brown, WR, Memphis/Harding Academy
Brown Player rank (position rank): 24 (3)
Considering: Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Ohio State and Ole Miss.
Front-runner: By all accounts, Tennessee seems to be leading for Brown. Lane Kiffin has made bringing Brown to Knoxville a top priority; he was on a plane to see Brown within hours of officially taking the UT job. The Vols' location and the chance to play early could be key parts of Kiffin's pitch.
Scouts Inc. says: Brown measures close to 6-6, and he knows how to use his frame. His athleticism makes him very difficult to handle off the line and on contested matchups downfield. He can outmuscle defenders for the ball, and his leaping ability makes it difficult to gain any position on him.

By all accounts, his leader is Georgia.

The buckeyes are in the big 10.

And of course they think they are gonna get him. Buckeye fans are arrogant and believe that they are the be-all end-all of college football.

Bama, UF, UGA clones...

Yeah, but worse. They beat up on Northwestern, Purdue, and Indiana every year. Throw in Youngstown State and two MAC shools every year and you have most of thier schedule every year. Then when they win against thier 1 or 2 legit opponents they puff thier chest and claim that they deserve to be in the NC game every year.
At least those SEC schools play legit competition for at least 40-50% of thier schedule.

The most ridiculous thing I have ever read came from an Ohio State board.... Some dude was debating with a UT fan concerning the Thorpe Award and the OSU fan stated the following....

And I paraphrase - "I just hope we can get out of the series with UT so it doesn't hurt our strenght of schedule for the BCS." :post-4-1090547912:

Exactly.

They would probably add the University of Wisconsin Milwakee.

Anybody else sick of hearing about Alabama and Ohio State? I'm ready for the day when we are mentioned about as many times in recruits interests as Tebow is mentioned in one minute of a football game.

Of the 10 prospects on the espn link, Stanford is in the mix for 4 of them. WTH?

They beat USC, dude. Who wouldn't want to go there? (I'm kidding)

Harbaugh's crew is obviously doing a great job recruiting.

I think "WTF?!?!?!?" is more like it, though. No one even remembers that John Elway quarterbacked that team---know why? Even with Hall of Famer and two-time Super Bowl champ John Elway, they couldn't even make a bowl game. He finished his career 20-23 there.

The "band on the field" game was his last chance to get to a bowl game and thanks to those laterals he missed his window.

It's got to be awful to root for Stanford---it probably feels like being a South Carolina fan. There's a couple trolling around, we should ask them what that feels like.
