I checked the NCAA record book in 2006, and I am pretty sure Tennessee is No.9 in both winning percentage and total number of wins all time.

for some reason I find a direct correlation between post count and negative attitude. I don't know why that is...it's just an observation, not a criticism of anyone in particular by any means.

Okay then, Pollyanna. Perhaps you'd like to provide a justification for calling Knoxville "Title Town" that doesn't involve equating women's collegiate basketball with men's professional sports.

:)

Your observation is spot on.

Someone at UT SID goofed there...it should be that UT is the winningest program (wins) since 1926, when Neyland arrived on campus.

Yeah, that made me scratch my head... don't know where that came from.

if you would continue reading the thread as if you had any common sense, you would realize it's just a typo and that since Neyland came to Rocky Top, Tennessee does have the winningest program in the nation. But of course, you most likely did read it all and just to continue trolling and creating an uproar, you posted your nonsense anyway.

As college sports go, and assuming we are basing it only on major sports programs, I don't see how Gainesville doesn't get it.

As professional sprts go, isn't it Boston?

Prolly cause there is this city called Los Angeles, they happen to have UCLA and USC, (UCLA being the winningest program in college athletics), USC is arguably the most dominant FB team of this decade... and no one can comapare to ucla bb. Not to mention they have the Lakers.
Also Chapel Hill area NC has NC State, Duke, and UNC.
Boston is alright but aside from the Celtics their teams dont have that much championship history.
Detriot isnt to shabby either with the Pistons and the Wings. The lions suck and tigers are aight. If ann arbor was added to their area maybe they could win but i dont think they could do that. who knows.
I'd say LA wins it. Gainsville will probably be top 5.

i know reading is so very difficult for you TVA, but again I had no problems with Tiger winning the Open. You essentially told me I was crazy for saying Rocco had a very good chance of winning the playoff. Of course then you posted some garbage acting like you agreed it wasn't over when Rocco pushed Tiger to his limits.

What i'm not dealing with is the waste of space known as TVA/Rasputin/LOOMIS. Why GA lets you continue to troll around here is beyond me.
