So, all that went on at the end of the game and the first thing ESPN talks about is Tn not getting flagged for the salutes??? :question: Seriously?

They mentioned the KSU guy getting called for it but just had to add 'Tn was way worse' and 'they did it all game'.

My impression was that they were using us as an example of how truly bad that call was. Big Ten ref bashing is ok with me at this point. Am I the only one who was just blatantly annoyed by the officials accent and mannerisms?

I'm just used to ESPN. Those third-rate commentators love to be able to run their mouths without repercussion, so whatever. Here ya go, ESPN.... :finger3:

They also made a point to say the rule needs to be changed which led to the OT in our game. Holtz also said the penalty should've been 15 yards not 5. I think they were actually OK on us tonight.

One thing that bugged me was the way they were advertising the basketball games constantly on espn 2 it was like they wanted basketball to outshine UT football

i thnik the difference between our salute and the KS salute we where saluting each other, when the KS player did the salute there was no one around

The only thing that sucked tonight was us.

Missed PAT cost us the game. Period. Lots of other crap cost us a chance to win IN SPITE of the missed PAT.

Our team just finds new and innovative ways to cancel out the flashes of promise and potential that arise during games. This is a near weekly occurance.

Our team finds ways to embarass the state of Tennessee during bowl games on a near yearly basis. This is probably what I'm most frustrated with.

I'll be a Vol 'till I die, but this is making me old before my time.
