The boys of SportsCenter this morning both pick Oklahoma. One of them says Oklahoma makes a big statement today against Tennessee.

After seeing our secondary and our non-existent pass rush last week they have to pick OU.

Hopefully that was us playing possum or those two things are fixed for today!

Both the analysts on SEC now picked the Vols in a close one. Joey Galloway also picked UT to win

pass rush was there. you must have not seen the part where they threw to their first option 80% of the time on a 3 step drop. we got decent pressure considering what they were doing. Not going to get a ton of sacks on that. Still got 3 or 4 though. OUs tackles may be worse.

You must have missed coach strip not liking a single thing from the dline

no actually i didnt. i never said they were good did i? they werent great overall but to act like they werent getting any pressure and the rush was "nonexistent" is inaccurate as hell. nice try.

Maybe, but if UT jumps out to a lead and the crowd gets behind the Vols, it could easily go the other way.

Again, why would that upset anyone? That is probably the safe pick for a neutral observer.
I'll never understand people let a prediction mean anything at all to them.

Considering what barnett and maggit can do it was nonexistent IMO. Now if they don't have time to get to the QB in a 3 step drop I agree but then that secondary is going to have to show up today which is why I said I hope it's fixed.

We have not won a big game against a ranked for years (minus game cocks). We can win. But until we do we will not be the favorite by many.

you must not really watch football if you think teams are going to rack up a bunch of sacks when the qb is throwing to his first man that quickly. Just doesnt happen.

I didn't say the initial statement you are referring to. I'll give my actual thoughts. The line didn't do as well as they should have. The DBs didn't either. Overall I think we will be improved but BG didn't use a three step drop all game. Don't throw out that "you must not watch that much football" trash. It's a sophomoric statement. Try not to have your jimmies rustled over a single comment.

At the start of the season. All the so called experts go on what happened last year. Well we got a lot more players playing now than we did at Oklahoma. One big reason will be Dobbs is at QB. He will take off and run where Worley last year would not run when he had a open lane. Anytime Dobbs has a open lane he could take it to the house.

The analysts are just basing their picks on the Vols 2-29 record against AP Top 25 teams after the Fulmer Era.

I'm proud to say, it'll be 3-29 after tonight! Rocky Top is back!
