Haha fair enough. Auburn hasn't done much to convince me that they'll smoke us in our place...aside from beat Texas A&M (and that game would have gone differently if Manziel hadn't been hurt).

Been saying this all week as well. AU has as bad of a schedule as Ala. Manziel was hurt and their D is horrible. LSU is the best team they played and lost easily by DD. Not to mention Miss St had them beat and Wash St could have too, both were in AU.

Auburn has exactly as many impressive wins as we so.

They're overrated and beatable if the Tennessee we've seen at home shows up this weekend

Only difference their big one was on the road..but I agree with this..If our D plays like SC game..we have a solid chance

I just can't buy into the Auburn hype. I haven't all season and won't even if they beat the vols. Their schedule is cake, yes I know they beat A&M with a hurt Johnny Football and an Ole Miss team that has gotten beat by all the talented teams they've faced. Other than those two games it's been a favorable schedule for the Tigers.

Not surprised if we keep it real close or even win this game. Call me crazy I just don't see it even with their 8-1 record.

Had Shaw not been hurt you still wouldn't have a conference win. We can talk about UGA's injuries too if you'd like.

Didn't Ole Miss just beat LSU?

Was Johnny not in the game for every series save one? Did he not go 9\10 for 100+ yards after his initial injury?

Personally, I think it would be a bigger victory than the SC game. Not just because of the ranking either, I think Auburn is better than SC.

You're right it would be a much bigger win. Auburn is a much better team offensively, defensively I don't know.

Shaw struggled throwing the ball all day .. save the one blown coverage for long td . Go back and watch their last few drives in the 4th qtr . Shaw was terrible , Tenn defense was getting pressure with four for the most part. Now if North fails to make the circus catch... but he did and Tennessee won the conference game .

No matter what the outcome, Butch's gotta' have the guys looking competitive and promising for the future, and the crowd's gotta be into it. Mssrs. Jackson, Sharpe, Malone, Lamin and Huertelu......among a couple others......need to be impressed to up the ante on NSD. Being 3-1 at home's gotta' be a confidence builder, so maybe better preparation (not at all like that of last week) and some luck, alongside UA's possible lack of same, will be enough to pull this one out. They at least need to look "inspiring." I've always loved beating the tiggers.

For UT to have chance our D has to stop the run. Or at least slow it down. Mason and Marshall very well could have career rushing days against our D.

Unfortunately it looks like Marshall and Mason will in fact have a career rushing day.
