Same issue. Timed by who? His gym coach? The only REALLY reliable way to compare all these kids running around is that a large majority of guys that are really fast also run track, at least in high school. If they're REALLY fast they may even run college. You know for a fact, for instance, that Kenny O'Neal is THAT fast by looking him up on something like dyestat.

Wow!!! This kid looked very good in high school and we all would have fell out of our seats had CPF brought him in last year! I hope it is true.

i wonder why we have a camp that doesn't want this kid unbelievable to me, i would welcome him to Knoxvegas with open arms.

If somehow the powers to be discovered PM had another year of eligibility and he said he wanted to go back to the college game and play for UT, we'd have a camp against that.

We have a camp against anything--including winning football games as you may recall since that extended Fulmer's time on the Hill.

I hope he does transfer to Tennessee. Going from one of the great traditional programs to another that's just as respected where he could start and make a name for himself next year is important. He's far too talented to go to a lower division or lesser known program where he'll be forgotten in a year.

Not so fast. I do not believe that. Vol fans panic over everything. Do not take a group of 10 to 15 percent and let their voice show that the majority. We have all be extremely frustrated with this program over the past few years and I think all sides have be well stated, but it is what it is. This is an important period for UT Football and even though I have been on CPF's A@@, I truly believe he is the best coach for this period of Change. It is not his job on the line it is the UT Football program that is at the Crossroads.....He is the one to rebuild it or we will head down the path of FSU.

no one knows...it's all speculation. He will have to make a decision soon though b/c he plans to enroll at the new school for this semester...which started today for UT.

Id be shocked if he came to UT

I think hes headed for Arkansas,because a snake like Petrino does have the idiocy to promise a guy a starting position before he arrives

something we cant offer.

BJ Coleman is our guy for 09' when Mallet is eligible

Where does JC go in 09?

If JC starts this year and does well then he will be the starter in 09 as well.

But, like I said earlier in the thread I don't care who starts at QB. as long as they give us the best chance to win!

He'll probably leave, but he, like the others will get their fair chance. I agree with you Cov, that the resulting assessment won't be favorable for BJ. There's also Stephens and BJ isn't clearly ahead of him (yet?).

If Ryan doesn't come here I say he goes to UCLA. Neuheisal is interviewing Loffeler this weekend I believe.

If he has a good year, I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave. He should have his degree by that time too (end of 4 academic years) or at least be close. Just like Mayo this year.
