I thought ranking him second in the country was a bit rich, but he’s the second highest rated passer in the ACC—higher than Carson Beck, Klubnick, etc.—without even considering what he brings as a runner. He completes a lot of passes and gets good YPA despite losing Singleton to Auburn last offseason. He completes more passes for more yards than Gunner Stockton with the same number of picks. Oh, and he’s the second leading rusher in yards per game in the ACC. Not second among QBs, second for all players. And he’s rushed for 14 TDs, too.Haynes King is f-ing baller. He may never amount to anything in the NFL but he's what you want in college: leader, gamer, clutch in crunch time, tough as nails, a real field general.
It’s a perfect situation for him, too, with Faulkner as his OC and an offensive lineman for a head coach.
