Tennessee went to the CFP on the power of great defense (sixth in defensive SP+) last season, so it seemed like Aguilar was walking into a pretty decent situation. The Vols' defense has completely collapsed -- 56th in defensive SP+, 95th in points allowed per drive -- but the team is still 6-3 and ranked because Aguilar has keyed an offensive resurgence. He could end up with 4,000 passing yards.

Haynes King is f-ing baller. He may never amount to anything in the NFL but he's what you want in college: leader, gamer, clutch in crunch time, tough as nails, a real field general.

Stat wise he's the passing leader in the SEC, Simpson is a close second.

Aaron Philo, who I would expect to be there QB has played a good bit and is a good player, but you are 100% correct. King is a generational quarterback for GT. He's the best they've had since Joe Hamilton in the late 90's.

King was rated really high coming out of high school but was a slow starter in college but after getting the game to slow down for him he is one of the best right now and carries G Tech IMO.

The OSU QB is overrated. He doesn’t have to do anything difficult with his supporting cast, especially with the top WR.
