On Doug Matthews radio show this morning, Tony Barnhart (who is very good friends with Tubberville) said that Tubbs wants to stay in Auburn and he said that the powers that be at Michigan may not really want Miles.

So he put his team on a roller-coaster ride of emotion all week before the SECCG for nothing.
Les Miles is truly a moron. I bet he still leaves.

Oh well there is a Champion to be crowned today and its my belief that the Champion will be clad in BIG ORANGE.
GO VOLS!!!!!

Could this be smoke and mirrors on the part of Miles and LSU to get the team up even more for today?

Report is that the extension is not signed.

That's correct. The contract has not been signed, but both parties have verbally agreed to the terms of the contract.

Thanks for clearing that up for us. You should really call all the major news outlets so they'll know for sure as well.

I don't really get the sarcasm.

You seemed confused about the announcement, with the contract not being signed, wondering if this was all "smoke and mirrors"....major news outlets have already explained that the terms have been agreed upon, and they'll get the contract signed after the game.

I was just relaying that information to you.

I'm just going to take this opportunity to announce that my sources tell me that CPF is going to Southern Cal and Bill Bellicheck is going to be announced as the new HC at Tennessee after the game tonight.

If that is true, it is a crazy story. Yesterday, I heard the AD at LSU said Miles could talk to Mich after this game.

That means Miles probably talked to UM even though he should not.

LSU worked on an offer, I guess, in hopes to give it to Miles before UM. So the AD maybe buying time to make the offer first and maybe even a counter offer to UM who he was not suppose to be talkiing to anyway? All in one day.

No confusion here, brother, but when ESPN (at that time) was giving conflicting reports, why would I take your word as the gospel?
