He is bigger and faster and quicker and cuts better and has better hands and better vision and he is wayyyy more of a homerun threat

He's NOT bigger

He MAY be 0.1 sec faster in the 40 than Trent

He's not quicker and doesn't cut better as far as any of us know (how you would know that without ever seeing either of them play a game, I'm not sure)

He has better vision? Really? Who says (besides YOU of course).

He doesn't have better hands. In fact, that's an area the scouts say brown needs to improve on.

You say Brown is more of a homerun threat - again, I don't know where you get this. They both run in the 4.4-4.5 range and have almost identical ypc stats with Trent running behind a bad offensive line in a very good football division.

So, it just seems like a lot of assumptions on your part to me.

Choosing schools for one thing. Also, I think I trust the ability of the guys at Rivals and Scout to evaluate talent better than some loser Bama fan who has nothing better to do with his life than post on a UT board. Get a life loser.

There's this thing called film, maybe you've heard of it. Then again maybe they don't have such advanced technology in Alabama. Both you and I know Brown is much faster and much quicker. Richardson is a glorified fullback.

But, I didn't say either of those RB's were better. I don't know. There's only so much you can tell from watching HIGH SCHOOL film. As brilliant a detective as you profess to be, I'm sure you realize that. All I'M saying is that whichever one of you goobs it was that said BB was definitely SOOOO much better than TR is full of ****. They are identical in stats and rankings and TR got a lot of attention as the "number 1" RB is the nation just as BB did.

Richardson was ranked the #1 RB by ESPN only because he played in the Under Armour game. They just want to be able to say that the number one RB in the country is in the game that just so happens to come on their network. It's all about TV ratings. And if there's really only some much that you can tell from HIGH SCHOOL film, as you claim, then I wonder why coaches offer guys only after watching their film. I would also ask why the guys at Rivals say that film evaluation is the most important aspect of rating players. Also, I'm not just saying that Brown was the best RB in that class. He was the best PLAYER in that class. This isn't me being a homer, it's me looking at the facts. Right now, the recruiting rankings are all we have to go by.
