Look at the list of the top 150 it is pitiful. J smith is not even in it and Keiwon Malone is 97th overall. Kyle Prater is like the 10 best WR....... WOW

They had Trent Richardson ahead of Bryce Brown last year. That tells you all you need to know about their credibility with player evaluations.

Why do they even try. They have considerably less creditability then even scout and thats hard to do. Only an idiot would subscribe to their service.

Yeah I think they try to be different because their rankings come out alot later than the others

It's pretty simple with ESPN. If a guy is in the Army All-American game instead of their Under Armour All-American game he will be ranked lower. They just want to help ratings for that game, so they rank all of the UA All-Americans higher so that they can say that it consists of all the nations best players. I believe Prater is in the Army game, so they are not going to rank him the best WR even though it's obvious that he is.

Even as a Gator fan, it seems that their rankings are heavily skewed towards us, I must admit. I think our recruits are great but they seem to be ranked a little too high.

Scout, Inc does a decent job. No one can see all the players that must be evaluated. Guys they've personally seen are going to get more love than ones they haven't.

Both ESPN and Scout.com have been catching up with Rivals in the accuracy of their evals. Scout has been better evaluating QB's over the past few years.

Someone disagrees with your subjective assessment of a subjective thing. Ergo they are wrong and idiots.

Love it.

They do have Ambles in the top 40 which is right, but I think Seastrunk is the #1 RB not Dyer. I also don't agree with Jackson Jeffcoat as the #1 player.

This must be a down class in ESPN's eyes. The highest ranked players are 88's. Bryce Brown was an 88 last year and wasn't even in the top 3 players.

I'm telling you guys, it's all about what all-american game the guy plays in. It's so obvious it's kind of funny. ESPN has Dyer ahead of both Lattimore and Seastrunk when he should be behind both of them. Dyer is in the UA game, Lattimore and Seastrunk are not.

I would take TR over Brown. TR played against top notch HS competition, Brown played against weak competition.

I think it has more to do with the fact that recruiting is not a priority at ESPN. It will sometimes take days before they update commitments etc. If they pay such little attention to easy details such as that how much do they really put into their ratings?

Rivals may not be perfect, but the emphasis is on recruiting and therefore they do it better. JMO

Does it really matter? Sam Bradford was a three star QB. Just because someone is ranked higher or lower doesn't mean they will be any better or worse in college. Recruit the players you like and don't pay attention to stars.

To be fair, its an inexact science. I would agree that rivals tends to do their homework the best... but at the end of the day these are opinions. They are allowed to be different.

There you go again changing your avatar from the pool girl... What gives? On a side note, Salma Hayek is in my town right now filming a movie with Adam Sandler and Chris Rock. My wife met her and says she chain smokes like a chimney! Still hot though in my book! :)

If she'll put a cigarette in her mouth, she'll put anything in it.

Words to live by.
